Here's it's pretty much 50+ once we get to the 15th, although booking dates are by birth year, so it's not all open at once. The phase 2D likely won't be completed prior to 2B and 2C (which are not age based), just while there is AstraZeneca available.
It's not about their expiry dates for skipping over some groups, it's about wanting certain groups to get different vaccines.
I just read about his concern. Experts on the new vaccines, have said the opposite. They did the testing, and they appear to have more thorough knowledge of the immunity created by these new vaccines vs recovery from natural infection, as documented. I am no infectious disease expert, so a bunch of credible scientists around the world genuinely working hard to beat this virus say the vaccines help - and one guy who seems well qualified but isn’t working in a front-line capacity on research or testing says he thinks it’s dangerous. So far, I’m not convinced he's suddenly more correct - I’m still siding with what the majority of them are saying about it. They are not a whole bunch of front line researchers and scientists deliberately or carelessly killing people. They are trying to help the world overcome covid.

But the current feeling among a number of sceptical scientists we are in touch with is that the paper greatly exaggerates the capacity of viral variants to evade the human immune system. Upon encountering a virus like SARS-CoV-2, a large repertoire of T-cell epitopes is produced which are capable of dealing with most variants.
Can’t really find logic in his argument. The virus has mutated before the vaccinations have started into a more contagious form in Britain and in Brazil- where Covid has been let go rampant due to a Trump like President it also mutated without any influence of vaccinations. The more people are infected, the more likely to have mutations. Reduce infections, reduce the chances to mutate. And with Brazil haven a relatively young population compared to north America, the argument that it hits only the elderly has long been proven wrong.
