Florida. 21 million people. 31,000 deaths. Not a good record. Canada 35 million people. 22,000 deaths. Also not a good record but better than florida. Ontario 14 million people 7000 deaths.
they are being vaccinated though it’s not smooth, like elsewhere
the governor is full of bravado but there are lots of restrictions despite what he says. Our friends say that while restaurants are busy, it is at half capacity and mostly outdoor. Tons of restaurants are mostly outdoor so easy to do, we always choose to eat outdoor in Florida. They also say that downtown everyone mostly wears a mask on the street. Individual stores have individual rules but most ask for masks and limit customers
our boat club has very strict rules about getting onto the boat, how many people can be on the dock at a time, mandatory masks on the dock..... seating capacity for all boats has been cut in half ( we belong to a club where you book a boat for the day)
our golf club has mandatory masks inside Unless actually sitting and eating. Restaurant at half capacity, even outside. Masks must be worn when getting carts and starting to play. Then you can do what you want. Staff doesn’t empty cart of your clubs or your garbage, you must take clubs to your car. guest events have been cancelled for the season though regular member events are going on, at decreased numbers
it is less restricted than Ontario has been since Christmas but still restricted. The golf course rules sound pretty much like what our golf course rules were here this summer and what the ski club rules are right now
