Is there room here for the science of psychology and psychiatry ... and the legalisms about charging an occupant of high office with insanity?

Insanity causes the dropping of many charges and thus significant neutral Iddies ... iddy 's a funny indication! Thus iddie biddy bits ... chitz?

Few will accept as fear of fecundity of learning something ... life's like that!

Oh, dear, didn't realize it was Robbie Burns Day.

Thinking of Nancy. Hoping that her healing is going well.
Ok, I had to look that up. He wrote Auld lang syne. Anything else on the scottish website from bim I had no idea what kind of words that were.

Wrote plenty of other poetry, too, as well as collecting and writing down some Scots folk songs. He's basically the national poet of Scotland and much of his work is in Auld Scots, the dialect of English the Scots spoke in that era (the PBS documentary The Story of English even suggested that Scots could have become its own language had the Scots remained independent of England). After Auld Lang Syne, My Luve is like a Red, Red Rose is probably his most famous poem.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by 'opened'. We used to regularly donate potatoes and carrots by the sack. Turnips, cabbage, etc by the box, and know neighbours who are still doing that.
Here those types of things require a trip to the food bank, or one of the few collection sites that takes the fresh produce.
I meant for the shampoo - I had tried it, so it was opened. The typical places that will take shampoo donations do not want a bottle that has been tested out by someone!

My Scottish heritage has me very aware of Robbie Burns. It’s worth a look on line at his poetry. He is a national treasure in Scotland. Today, you would pipe in the Haggis and have roast chicken potatoes and turnip

First St. Andrews United here in London has long played host to the city's major Burns dinner. The minister who was serving there when I attended apparently does a great portrayal of Burns (though I think he's actually Irish). He remained in the area and still kept doing it after he retired, though I assume it isn't happening this year.

Good morning all! As the leftover haggis goes into the freezer for future occasions, we bring forth fresh hot water and fresh coffee to face a new day. Looks like this area will be getting some 5-10 cm of windblown snow, so we can find out for sure how pure the driven snow might be. Coffee cart is up and running. Help yourself.
