Good morning, all! Since I overlooked Earth Day yesterday, but still would like to mark it somehow, even if late, we're bringing out the green china for the day. Enjoy!

My coffee was extra welcomed today. I'm taking prednisone for a week to kill a rash. I think it kept me awake too long. Alas, I think I'm coming to. I had the coffee then a good cup of strong assam breakfast tea. Now I've had lunch. I'm more awake. Oh, and I unraveled a sweater I was making a few years ago and am all set up to make a cardigan with the yarn. It's a good feet up in front of the TV with the knitting day.
 
A red cup of coffee with a glug of cream is perfect. I got up at 5am and made glazed lemon blueberry loaf. (yeah right). Through the miracle of virtual reality, we can share it. Nice coffee Redbaron. Thanks very kindly.

Is it true that some folks accept them without question or investigation of the facts ... given the denial of facts is common with indoctrinated tyranny?

Some facts weep out of the unknown ... given time for wee drips to accrue! Do we have space for ide Oh Zae?

I have to say I'm enjoying all the delightful no-calorie snacks in this room! I think I'm well on my way to achieving a quarantine weight gain in real life!!
 
This afternoon, I was into "Geek Tea", containing among other ingredients, pine-roasted lapsang souchong and smoked oolong. Grows on you.

Got some seeds started today, which always feels good.

I had a dinner angel arrive on my doorstep this afternoon with turkey vegetable pie, bean salad, and some really nice peach cobbler. In virtual land, there's plenty of cobbler to share.
 
I'll pitch in some Ontario craft beer. I'm enjoying a Great Lakes Brewery "Pompous Ass English Ale".

And a chunk of Snowdonia old white cheddar. To die for.
 
I did a farmer's market order. I did a special order cake so I was like may as well do more. Funnily enough the cake person had left before my pickup time - business has been slow. We made other arrangements. No elk :( I don't know if that vendor isn't doing the market at all or what. I do have kombucha, blindman brewing beer, Greek food, and Siberian dumplings.
It's pretty low tech - fill out an online form typing in the vendors and the items. They do their best to put it together. They write out a receipt, payment is either etransfer or credit card - I just got them to do the tap leaving it in my trunk. I think I was supposed to text a number but it's only on the form which goes down when they filled up for the weekend, the emailed copy had no instructions. I send a FB message, not sure they saw it or not, I did get a phonecall near my pickup time (was also on the form, along with vehicle info).
 
Speaking of specials and deliveries, 420 week has produced a bounty of goodies...I am certainly keeping Canada Post in business. Anyone else have a stick propping up their mailbox?
 
As we salute the weekend, let us raise our mugs and cups. After, of course, we fill them with warm beverages.

Yes,finally, we are getting up to 15 degrees this weekend, the sun is shining- and I bet the bugs will be out in no time.
I will be working on the fence I had put up last summer, which is leaning in one spot and needs to be braced.
 
On the first day of the week God began creation. On the first day of the week God raised Jesus from the dead. On the first day of the week we join in spirit for warming drinks of our choice. (Okay, so Creation and Resurrection are much bigger deals. But, hey, what happens over coffee and tea matters, too.)
