Novel Coronavirus

It's not influenza but it's, symptomatically, like a bad flu bug.

There will be a vaccine soon and I wouldn't be surprised, if possible, they added it to the next flu vaccine - which I will likely get.

The thing is, if you add up world affairs, it's like nations are preparing for war and these exercises give them practice - building transformable medical facilities and compounds they can put up in days (with 7000 workers ready to go) and preparing and enhancing compounds on army bases. And quarantining people in the tens of thousands! That's staggering, in a matter of weeks or less. I don't trust this round. That's all I'm saying. I don't personally trust the process this time. It may be just about stopping the virus and I'm over-imagining things, but I don't trust it.

I've been reading that there's no way to contain this virus - it needs to be ridden out, to run its course while it can't be vaccinated against - because by the time someone is mildly symptomatic they've probably already exposed others to it. And you can't quarantine the whole world like cattle (though they might try).

The cruise ship in Japan bothers me. They shouldn't be keeping non symptomatic people detained for days, anchored at sea.
The symptoms for this coronivirus doesnt just stop with "flulike" or Pneumonia symptoms....in some it advances to organs failings...I dont think they can determine who those will be that it takes a turn for the worse. Just recently, the doctor who raised the alert about this virus died...he was healthy not compromised before.

If medical authority misses a lot of common organ failure ... how good will they be at peculiar failure? Consider it inflammatory aggression of smooth tissues ... distraught pools!

And the Chinese are outraged about the death of the whistle blower Doctor Li Wenliang

Can you blame them? Guy does the right thing by trying to get the word out about the outbreak, gets slapped down by the authorities, and ends up a victim of the outbreak. The irony, it burns.

So the authorities waited to aknowledge the virus, then miraculously built a huge hospital with 7000 workers ready and trained, complete with building plans. Not weird at all.

Not blaming them at all.....it's being noticed that the Chinese are speaking out about this more than they normally would, which is definitely a change occurring within society. Not that they've never rebelled before.

7000 workers within a province of 58 million and much larger population overall in all of China doesn't seem impossible....even the amount of workers needed to build....amazing but could be possible in my mind.

Sure it's possible - they did it. It is something that would involve planning and training. They "suddenly" knew exactly what they were supposed to do and were all ready to go. That doesn't add up.

Ever heard of contingency plans? Developing a plan for dealing with a situation and keeping it on file until you need it. In a country that size and with the number of natural disasters, including epidemics, they have faced historically, the government could well have plans for emergency facilities on file. And it's not like they need to go through zoning committees or anything. They just pick a plot of land, pull out the plans, and say "Build it."

Did it surprise you when the Australians sprang into action for an enormous fire? Or Canada? or how the world responded?
Almost every public service, businesses, etc, has various emergency plans in place....it could be a routine emergency that we've all unfortunately grown accustomed to, but this situation can become huge or maybe not. It's an unknown virus and unpredictable....the world has only known about it for just over a month....in the meantime, as more information is found I would hope that they will adjust their response accordingly.
I personally think they are making some good decisions.....of course when this hopefully dies down, we will have more time for critiques and analyzing how we could have responded better(eg SARS), but right now we're in crisis....

Being that it is obviously possible in the event of an outbreak ... I have to wonder why such measures can not be afforded as precautionary to avoid the surefire spreading of an outbreak.

Do you know what caused this virus?

Do you know what caused this virus?
Whatever this virus is or is not ... I am quite certain that lack of clean air unsanitary conditions lack of affordable housing or health care facilities mass migrations and extreme economic barriers to overall healthy living conditions for transient 'voluntary laborers' would be contributive.

The 'Coronavirus' is wreaking havoc in China, not only with the people suffering and dying, but also with its economy and political system.

Everything that Technocrats had hoped to achieve with China, is now on its own deathbed with irregular heart beat.

China has worked hard since 1976 to establish itself as the world’s first completely Technocratic state.

That’s 44 years engineered economics, social control and outward expansion through the Belt and Road trade network.

The 'release of the Coronavirus' was an accidental ‘Black Swan’ event that nobody expected, especially China?

In any event overconfident technocrat scientists created this sloppy mess.

Security surrounding the 'deadly virus' was obviously an afterthought.

This is not surprising, given that the Technocrat view of humanity is extremely low.

The original Technocracy Study Course manual described the ‘human animal’:

The human animal is composed of chemical atoms which are derived from the ordinary inorganic materials of the earth, and which ultimately return to the place from which they come… The human animal responds to its external environment through the mechanism of the conditioned reflex, which is a purely automatic but tremendously complex, nervous control mechanism. These conditioned reflexes are, however, subject to control and manipulation through the device of manipulating an individual’s environment. (Technocracy Study Course, 1934, p. 205)

Now that China’s scientific blooper is spinning out of control, we are witnessing the aftermath and associated human costs.

As Bloomberg reports China Sacrifices a Province to Save the World From Coronavirus.

"People are queuing for eight hours just to get tested for the coronavirus", said the college graduate, John Chen, who’s 23.

His feverish mother is yet to be tested.

“At first I was upset that the hospitals and officials I called for help weren’t willing to do their job, but later I realized that it’s not that they are unwilling to help, but that everywhere is way too short of resources,” he said.

“I don’t blame anyone, because if you grow up in China, you learn that’s how the system works.”

Technocracy is not progressive, but rather regressive.

A flawed system of thinking from early 1900s, has remained just as flawed in the 21st century, regardless of where it is embraced.

Technocrat Chinese leaders do not wish to understand this ... the people suffering under their jackboot understood it long ago.

Will we in the Western World finally learn something at their expense ... It does not appear likely so far ...

Not if we are to judge by what goes viral on our I first phones ... 'what's your vote on Trudeau's beard - yay or nay?'

And meanwhile ... martial law and continued colonization of the 'Indians' at our own doorstep ... Vaccinate Imprison or Ignore?

Of course, but which one? Nothing has been pinned down yet in order to correct it.

Just came back from grocery shopping. Was surprised - or not- that Chinese goods seemed to be on sale. A pomelo for 99 cents, garlic pack for 1.49. That’s really cheap. I am wondering if people are avoiding buying it. I have to admit, I washed my pomelo under hot water when I got home.

I am not sure what a pomelo is ... but why would you not buy local garlic or grow your own ...

Or do you consider your local store as local purchases.

Or do think cheap is protected better without 'the reported virus'?

If it was the white China Cheap, did they bleach the life and pungency out of it to make it white?

I don't know what they have done with your cheap garlic since 'the virus' but prior to that ...
“In China, chemicals banned in Canada? are still being used to grow garlic?

Chinese garlic is gamma irradiated to prevent sprouting and is also sprayed with Maleic Hydrazide to extend shelf life?

All imported garlic is fumigated with Methyl Bromide by AQIS on arrival in other countries.

It might look okay and it’s cheap enough but the next Chinese garlic you purchase might have actually been picked last year. (134213/Pixabay)

Garlic from China might be cheaper, but is it worth it?

I am not sure what a pomelo is

Asian fruit that is an ancestor of our grapefruit (grapefruit is a hybrid of pomelo and orange). Not grown much in the West (where it's descendant is more common) but still popular in China. I find them a less juicy and less tasty than grapefruit but do eat them when I'm over there since grapefruit is almost non-existent. Since we don't grow it here in North America, the ones in stores tend to be imports from Asia.
