Don’t know the person but she certainly could use some cheering up. Makes one worried she could do something to herself if she doesn’t get some professional help. Not trusting females or males excludes pretty much all non- professional supports. This person needs to get herself some help quickly, before the winter blahs add to the Christmas blues and to work on some new perspective for 2020. If this is you, Inanna, please get some RL help. If this is someone close to you, it sounds like more than one support person could handle and you should get the two of you some RL help. Sending warm thoughts ❤️

She's neither Innana nor close to him. She's an old WC'er on the West Coast (unless she has moved) who left around the time we started WC2. I have met her but we haven't been in contact in years. I haven't watched this video but she was having a rough time of it on many fronts back in the day. Offering up some positive vibes for her.

Never heard from my hematologist since he got back, but I doubt he would have had much new to say and he does so much.
Did get a call today though from my internist's clinic, appointment on the 31st. I'm guessing some more biopsy results are in. I'm a bit annoyed there is a delay on imaging results, looks like they do the same for biopsy results as well. I'd prefer to have them before talking to the doctor as it allows me to better prepare questions/a plan of what I would like done.
 
How long ago did you have the imaging done @ChemGal ? It seems that if the radiologist is there, results can be transmitted almost immediately. Certainly they can be done within a week.

I had my 13th of 16 radiation treatments today. Three more next week, with the last on the 2nd. I get a CT and bone scan on the 3rd. I forecast a nap that afternoon since I have to be at the hospital at 0700 that morning.
 
I had a nice and then naughty Christmas. Two different homes, two different vibes. At my mom's place...wholesome family games, food and song. At my dads, food, inappropriate humour, my step brother breaking into drunk river dancing with his new Christmas gumboots - bushy beard, looking like a fisherman (he's so funny my cheeks and stomach hurt from laughing so hard. I was crying laughing...he was actually good at it...once a year he's the family clown, always cracks everybody up with something) a few family friendly games, then 5 the of us siblings/ step siblings and partner, played cards against humanity after his girlfriend's 11 yr old went to bed. Yesterday was a write off - today I am starting to feel like a human again.

Imaging is all done for now, and those results are in. This is for the biopsy. Both images and biopsy results appear 5 days after doctors can access them. Most of the imaging was looked at with radiologists was done within 24 hours, but I only had access after almost a week.

While I had some, the subtyping that I had to request was not back. The (pathogenic) cultures were not back either. Not sure which these are, due to the delay they put into the patient test results access.

I'm glad you're close to the end of treatments!
