Ecce logos … if logic … we lost it a long time ago along with the God of Wisdom as we demanded a state of not knowing … innocence, naivete and ignorance all well rolled … therein the totem as logged! Iconic sigh in the woods?
Not all of us lost it
*catches a lost marble*
The wisdom and knowledge IS there
Has already been found many times
By different people
I guess a big struggle in my particular part of the world is thd struggle between needing to b a part of the herd (join us! join us! 401k. children. picket fence. public skooling. only use these approved words and ideas, et )and needing the ability to live the life one wants.
tough choice

Sheer chaos obviously in the oblivion noted!

"As a result of Ontario's decarbonization programme, the total commodity cost of electricity has increased from $0.058/kWh to $0.113/kWh, or almost 100 per cent."

Life is like that … autonomously meant for us to burn ourselves out due to lack of efficiency of virtue's nature … in the domain of the unreal when it comes to logic … a rare beastie!

I'm hoping that when I Dei it'll come to me as illegal to know anything as mortal … it's the law! Church paternity is built on know knowing who, or what … even where or when … and thus all the for gotten mindless Ness … tis deep and dark!

The data on health is it is unhealthy … and yet they mess with it based on protocol! Tis a ruse that can't be altered ...

Yep, the swearing in is done. Time for the swearing at to start (yes, I've used that joke before).

More seriously, I'm glad to see he isn't playing grudges here.

Christine Elliott and Caroline Mulroney, Ford's main rivals, both landed plum appointments. Elliott is Health and Deputy Premier and Mulroney is Attorney General. It may be a case of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer but at least it gets us a couple probably competent ministers in key portfolios.

Finance went to Vic Fedeli and I'm not clear on what qualifies him for that other than he did good service as interim leader so had to be given a plum appointment as a reward for that and for not running.

Will be interesting to see how this all shakes out and whether Ford actually lets his cabinet do their jobs or if he tries to be a one man show and keeps undercutting them.

What did Kinga Surma get?

What did Kinga Surma get?

No cabinet post for Kinga this round, but they still haven't doled out parliamentary assistant positions so perhaps she'll get one of those. Not as prestigious but it does come with a small pay raise and puts you a bit higher up on the ladder than ordinary backbenchers the next time the cabinet gets shuffled.

I'm glad Christine Elliot is the Health Minister. Beyond that, I still just see Doug Ford as a populist who appeals to people for the purpose of getting them to vote on social conservative agenda items and against their own general self-interests.

Basically, I expect he will give them simple wins that appeal to their religious delusions and slash social programs. I hope I'm wrong.

He'll throw them a few bones. Sex ed is toast, I'm sure. It's low hanging fruit in that it won't cost anything to simply order them to stop using and distributing it and not many people are likely to vote against him for cancelling it, though some might vote for him because of it.

Hopefully, though, more pragmatic conservatives like Elliott can exert some influence and keep things a bit sane. I'm certainly expecting something more like a louder, brasher Harper or Harris than a Trump here.

There will be a form of sex-ed taught no doubt. The curriculum will change of course.

All things change except the pious that can' accept alteration of what is BS as an instituted thing ... constitutional constipation? Plugged ...

Now is the time to put your bung in Jae ...

Like the Juiced at the Wahl ... or wee deuces at the dyke ...

Not quite sure what any of that has to do with sex-ed Luce.
