No. That’s not what I said. I just don’t think it’s the main point. The main point here is they wouldn’t be crying from separation from their parents if the Trump administration wasn’t separating them. A bunch of strangers tasked with holding them captive after their parents have been taken away, yet hugging them, is cold comfort compared to what should be done. And, some of them might be terrified to have those strangers hugging them - because what they are going through is frightening and confusing. I considered that, too. And, also, what they were fleeing from was also frightening and confusing. Trusting strangers just might not be easy for them right now.So it's okay with you that the adults around them don't comfort them?
