Ottawa? You're talking about the ice storm? It's all of Southern Ontario. Ottawa is getting it later than us due to east-west flow of systems but we've all been getting hammered.

The Alaskans are heading north in their RVs. Some locals have their trailers/RVs out. To hell with the robins. Alaskans are more reliable signs of spring. When we start seeing Texans heading north, we'll know it's summer.

Following Toronto's icestorm, it's just beginning to feel a bit like Spring again today. I eagerly await Spring each year here. Nowhere in Spring is more beautiful than is Toronto, Canada.

We have daffodils and croci pushing through the melting snow. This weekend.....double digits, yaaay! Soon we can start complaining about the heat.

Maybe. Snow forecast for here tonight. Only place I saw any open water today was adjacent to a large outflow pipe. Lake still looks stubbornly frozen. Longest winter ever.

We have a small lake right across the street....the mallards, geese and swans are enjoying the thaw.

Sounds about right except there's only 3 or 4 swans across from me, it's the geese that are having the party.....unless the big bad wolf is out.....I've seen him a few times heading over there and creating a kerfuffle as he chooses his dinner.......God at work?
