Headed to Stoyles shortly to get fish'n chips. @revjohn , may not be on the rock, but, have folks from the rock making some good friday fish.

Well, if you cannot get to the rock you can be blessed by having the rock come to you.

Baked some fish the other night. Will be repeating that recipe.

The rock is a beautiful place, and fish can be right tasty. That said, last night I made for myself a wonderful salisbury steak dinner. It featured salisbury steak, creamy whipped potatoes, corn, and I even cooked up a lovely apple cranberry dessert.

What's your plan for going vegan? I understand getting their gradually, but confused about a plan to get there where salisbury steak factors in.

I'm making a recommendation. That if Jae brings food to Room For All, that he can eat it himself.

For myself, I had leftover lamb, rice, veggies (and pie), and picked up ingredients for a beautiful soup tomorrow, which I will share. Roasting bones makes for a much richer broth.

Simple meal for us tonight. Chicken boiled in a Chinese marinade, bok choy stir-fried with fried tofu balls, and brown rice. Just as easy as a frozen dinner and much tastier.

Says she who has never once sampled my cooking. :D Doesn't seem very friendly of you to say such a thing Bette.

Okay.

I am bringing self made “Mozart balls” to the room to share ( so I am not eating all by myself). A centre of nougat wrapped into marzipan with a taste of cherry liquor and dipped in semi sweet chocolate. The recipe called for finely ground pistachios mixed into the marzipan, but I didn’t have any. In Germany, we would call it a “calorie bomb” with all that sugar. They are very tasty. First time I made them myself. W

I am pleased to be presenting to the room a lovely chicken dinner that I have made. All are invited to enjoy. It includes crispy fried chicken, creamy whipped potatoes, corn, and even chocolatey brownies for dessert.
