Except Rob Ford was relatively small potatoes - a mayor of a Canadian city. Trump is POTUS and that gives him a ridiculous amount of power. His blunders and even his misguided tweets are more powerful. I don't think Pence would piss off the whole world in quite the same way. I think he might create an uphill battle domestically for minority groups, for a couple of years - and that sucks - but the world on the whole might be safer. And it might not be. But Trump is not fit to be president. It's obvious. It was obvious to most of the world way before November 2016 - it's astonishing that he was elected. And if he colluded with Russia - then it was not a fair election, and he's got to step down or be booted out. If he obstructed justice by trying to thwart an investigation, he needs to go. If he did neither, the world is stuck with him for 3 and a half years.Agreed, Drumpf is awful, in a Rob Ford, sort of car-crash can't not look at it, way. From a policy POV, Pence is much more dangerous, and probably, potentially, much more 'effective' at his awfulness, as he'd have the support of the GOP.
