Kimmio, you constantly invent a world that doesn't exist and never has existed - and you invent an imaginary reality around it.
That's another point of view that's also crossed my mind. Problem is ... getting a consensus on waking up, to what? And where to go next.Trump is doing Americans a favour by giving them the opportunity to "wake up ".
Or, maybe you're looking in the wrong places Graeme. How about it?Neo - Trump has done no such thing. He has, as Hitler did, diluted their anger with racism. So did Obama. So did Bush. They all have been part of the problem.
I'm not at all sure there is any peaceful solution to this. I doubt very much that the wealthy will allow a peaceful solution.
Well, he gave them an outlet that allowed them to vent. That isn't the same thing as giving them a voice. A voice implies a degree of coherence. Venting has no such implication. He's given those with anger a voice, there's no doubt about that.
I don't know if that's true Revsdd, it seems apparent that the likes of "Steve Bannon" may be the second most powerful man in the world.Well, he gave them an outlet that allowed them to vent. Bannon may actually be the most powerful man in the world. But I'm not talking about the Steve Bannons. I'm talking about the mass of people who supported Trump out of anger. Who simply shook their fists and shouted "Yeah man! America first! Make America great again! Lock her up! Build the wall! Ban the Muslims! Fake news!" Those who got captured by angry slogans and sideshows.I don't know if that's true Revsdd, it seems apparent that the likes of "Steve Bannon" may be the second most powerful man in the world.
Kimmio - I should get excited because billionaire I've never heard of is going to give five million for a bright idea on world government?
1. Do you know what a tiny portion that 5 million is of a billion?
2. Who will judge the winner? The billionaire? What sort of capacity does he have to make such a judgement?
3.Ever wonder how he would enforce his choice? This world is full of much bigger billionaires who have no interest in world government.
4. What makes you think that any significant portion of the world wants a world government?
What is comes down to is...you hate the wealthy. You really have no solutions. You don't want to think of any. You just hate the wealthy. Or, you're jealous of them. This man started out a poor refugee now he's a wealthy philanthropist. Isn't that a good thing? It's not really about helping the world, for you, is it? You said the wealthy are not interested in solutions. Here's one who is. Now - I agree that most of them have a tendency to be too greedy. But don't knock the decent ones and their ideas.Kimmio - I should get excited because billionaire I've never heard of is going to give five million for a bright idea on world government?
