There is a difference between Narcissism and the actual DSM version and those can get confused...narcissism (the non DSM 4 one) seems like a personality trait that the ordinary public can have...even u and me perhaps...

But we can learn to try on hypotheses...to ser how our world changes...

Thus...trump as crazy klown...or trump as master manipulator...and seeing what happens...

And then we can have our fav hypotheses...

Would he be so self centred that he is totally out of touch with how his words and actions are perceived at home and abroad? Would he be so self centred that he does realize but just doesn't care, has no conscience about the consequences of raising the ire of the populous and making outrageous statements - only about having a following, and thriving off that power and attention?

Or, is it harmless bluster and "jokes"?

In an insane world take a turn and look at the flaws in the carriers of such non-sense ... as'is'? I'm plumb sure of that line between cheeky commentaries ...

There is a study (forget where I saw it) that states that 85-99% of all powerful leaders as psychopaths ... and accepted as not that bad as the other side learns from observation from way out there beyond the stink here!

You could note my "YYYYYAAAAAWWWWWNNNNN!!!!!" to monk in a recent post which had nothing to do with conservative media and everything to do with conspiracy websites.

I mention both in some responses to you because I'm kind of jokingly responding to your continual dismissal of liberal biased media. My "YYYYYAAAAAWWWWWNNNNNs" are intended for the conspiracy websites. Unless, of course, you think that my denial of yawning at conservative biased media is a conspiracy. ;)
 
Some people do not believe in plans, schemes and other organizations set to cause diversity ... from far out sources that would rather not get entangled in the consequential fecundity ... due to dissonance in the PEW!

The whole coverage of this election is childish. The latest is Trump saying that Obama started ISIS. Not true. Obama has certainly provided money and help to ISIS. But he didn't start it. And Clinton, in her responses,has been equally clueless.
The roots of ISIS lie with another president - church-going Jimmy Carter.
In 1979, Carter sent the CIA to create a civil war in Afghanistan. It was CIA agents who created the Taliban and Al quaeda. The plan went wrong as Russia intervened. So the US went on training and supplying various Jihadists to fight the Russians. Under Bush, the U.S. returned to its original plan of conquering Afghanistan. And so the Jihadist it had trained and supplied turned against it. And that's still going on.
As new Jihadist groups waxed and waned, the U.S. continued to use them. It has been using them from the start to defeat Syria. Even as it daily denounced Jihadism, it has been using it. That's why the Russian intervention has been so disturbing. unlike the U.S. Russia wants to defeat the jihadists. But Bush and Obama both used them, and, quite likely, Trump or Clinton will continue the same game.
There is lots of reliable source material on this. just google Afghanistan Russia war CIA 1979.
The politicians are lying. The news media are either ignorant or lying. And this is characteristic of this whole, childish campaign.
It's embarassing and frightening to see a nation of so many millions of educated adults who buy into it.

Oh, Jae, anyone who thinks the New York Times is liberal doesn't know the meaning of liberal.

If you show me a conspiracy theory that has a liberal bias that's reported primarily on conspiracy websites I'll treat it with the same rapt attention. Since I've only started "YYYYYAAAAAWWWWWNNNNNing" in the last couple of days I haven't seen any such posts. The conspiracy theorists do tend to lean to the right wing/anti-government position. The birther movement. The Obama's a Muslim theory. Various 9/11 stuff. The link monk posted about the four "DNC deaths."

No one that I know has claimed that Trump wants Clinton assassinated. It has been suggested that his words could be interpreted by someone who is - shall we say - unbalanced (like a conspiracy theorist maybe?) as an invitation to shoot her.
