I wonder if they are really close to a vaccine and that's why they want to have the patients come to Germany.
It doesn't sound as if those care conditions could ever be introduced in Africa- if you can wear those protective suits only three hours, you probably can't wear them more than 30 minutes in the African heat.
Doctors without Borders are very active in Africa, I believe they are the main health organization helping down there. They are presently fundraising to meet the needs. I suggest everyone here following this thread, please donate!
I cannot imagine putting myself at risk like that. (I can't deal with blood anyway, usually have to look away when I get blood taken or I faint). Yes, we are exposed to a couple of germs in the hospital, but in general, they are all treatable.
