Hard boiled eggs, too.
And my Mom used to put salt on her tomatoes. I always found that a little strange, but she was the one eating it. I've even heard of people putting salt on watermelon. That one I don't get at all, but, then, I've never actually tried it. I tend to prefer sweet to salty

I used to put salt on a lot more than I do now, since cutting back it amazes me how it jumps out and overwhelms me. I tend to use more pepper and other herbs now.

Me too. I have really learned more about spicing but using different websites that I trust for cooking, and trialing new food.

I wonder, did anyone try a new dish at Thanksgiving this year? How was it?

I had a ham recipe that I really liked that I had used a few times.
This time, I couldn't find that recipe, and tried a similair but different one.
It was NOT as good. ugh. I also messed up with the timing, partially do the recipe instructions. I should have known though.

Reminds me, I have to refind that recipe.
It had cumin, paprika, and other spices, plus, it had quite detailed timing instructions, including flipping it over for a while. Dang, though, it was good.

I have not had ham in a long time. We eat a lot of pork but it's mostly cut up pork loin in stir fries and similar or pork side ribs. Occasionally pork chops on the BBQ.
