The Loving Kindness in Scripture is telling the truth not putting a mask on it -----
Jesus came with the sword of the word to divide not to bring and peace and mask what real loving kindness is ---What Jesus brought is the love of truth and exposing false Prophets who preach False doctrine -----
You yourself can believe what you want to but let others hear the real truth ---your not the only one reading these posts -----

It's so interesting that @unsafe has found a way to fit together all the seeming contradictions in the bible.
I see her worldview as a closed & impenetrable system. No amount of reasoning or contemporary scholarship is going to shake it.

You don't have an audience of 3000. You have an audience of about 20. 19 of which look at you like you're 3 deities short of a Trinity.

History is a lot more useful when you don't study it.
If you prefer the to praise the viciousness and violence rather than the mercy and caring that’s coming from you. Maybe it’s not everybody else who doesn’t have faith in that who are the vipers. Maybe it’s the ones who do relish it. And the whitewashed tombs - maybe those who seem nice but they don’t care beyond their closed environment.

The bible is, once again, whatever you want it to be. You can derive any message from it. It just depends which parts you like and which parts you ignore.
Strictly speaking, though, the hateful beliefs aren't coming *from* unsafe - they're coming *though* unsafe. They're coming *from* the bible.
That's a problem.
You could say the same about violent movies.
It’s really about peoples’ own motivations though. That’s true. And, Jesus actually tried to point that out himself but some Christians really don’t want to see the healing, they want the violence.

If you're trying to say the Bible has no more authority than a movie, I'm with you.
But movies don't make claims for themselves that the Bible does.
And unsafe gets her hateful beliefs from the Bible.
