Our cherry tomatoes on the standard plants are now starting to ripen, as are some of the midsize. Had cucumbers and mini peppers too.

Planted new lettuce seeds.

Hmm. I know some of the vegetation around here, including the lawn kind of grass, is being pretty enthusiastic with all the rain. Can't speak to cannabis, though.

Re-did some beds last year, and I probably should have put the tomatoes and eggplant where the cannabis is, and moved the monster rhubarb patch under the shady bits.

My gardening life is all about moving stuff. I have a 20 year old climbing rose that has lost the competition with the grape vine for light and nourishment. Pondering moving it, although rose moving experience suggests that the older the rose, the closer its root is to China.

Ah rousing activity ... searching that far down ... considerable depth ...

Wasn't it Jung that declared if reaching for heaven you needed deep roots in what's past ... elle one? Tap root ... Karen Rotes ...

Some Rhodes lead to open waters ...

I discovered the oddest thing yesterday. All of my mint appeared to have disappeared in the great backyard jungle. I replanted a herb garden including a piece of spearmint. Discovered a little patch of chocolate mint from my original patch, fully 30' from where it last existed.
