What's in your purse

You're well behaved then. I have a tendency to fill whatever size I have, so I stick to a small-medium. My current bag is a casual "thirty-one" shoulder bag that I picked up for $1 at a garage sale.
I had a funny discussion with a woman at the bus stop once. I was digging around for my bus pass that I'm "supposed" to put back in the little zipper pocket, but of course I didn't and it just got thrown in there and fell to the bottom. I took a smaller purse in hopes of carrying less junk around - I was pulling out old transfers, a gum wrapper, shredded Kleenex, a bottle cap (?) and everything but the kitchen sink - and she said "it doesn't matter how big or small it is, I tend to stuff as much s**t as I can in there and before you know it, I'm like, how did that missing sock get in there, and what the hell is this?...looks like it used to be edible." You had to be there I guess but it was funny. Oh yeah, I had a reindeer toque in there from the Christmas party a week or more earlier! That was it. I was like, "what the..?" Lol. I think my bus pass was the last thing I rummaged out of there. And it was a small purse! Looks nice on the outside - good thing is it would make a purse thief impatient. They'd be going, "um, I think I'll pass on this one."

Wallet for cash, aluminum wallet for cards, cosmetic bag with lipstick, mirror, folding comb & brush combo thing, pocket calendar, cell phone, pen, medications, Kleenex, bus pass, two key rings (one for car, one for house) to-do list. No, I couldn't as easily put it all in my back pocket.

I don't do purses.

I will say that with my years of Scouting I am always appalled at how poorly my wife packs hers.

If my back packs were ever as sloppily arranged as that they'd be all off balance and absent many useful gadgets.

Needless to say I am not invited to give packing tips anymore.

Why don't they go over this stuff in guiding?

As I said earlier ... there are places to go not! Unless the good lass is purse 'un something other than apparent! Nib Aru?

I can relate. I actually took an old bulletin/ announcement out my purse the morning before church the next week - I didn't think of it - but when I was reaching for keys to lock the door or something - up popped the old announcement and I thought I'd better take it out because it might be embarrassing if it fell out at church.

Church bulletin doesn't stay in my purse past Sunday evening. If I haven't looked at it by then I toss it into the recycling bin.

Her purse has a life of it's own. Such a life that it is now the proud parent of a baby purse! She now carries another purse, much smaller purse, inside her purse!

Nope, not a wallet, another purse.

It is like what I would call her "jump bag",

It is a small thing that has her wallet and an inhaler in it plus anything pertinent for the day can be moved from the mother of a purse to the baby purse.

It is her excursion/sightseeing purse.

Integral crap as information regarding the school of forms ... and the hysterical (emotional) don't like such bagged intellect ... thus I'saac was taken up ...

The god of binary stuff vacuumed that out ... thus it was not longer existent ... forming abstracts ... the way out thoughts ... a' door ration of things that aren't ... incarnate metaphor?

Child's play with word ...

Welcome StevieG - my daughter actually suggested that I try that. Have a big purse (or bag) that goes from house to car and back carrying all the things I sometimes end up carrying - plus my little cross-over purse that carries the necessities that I take out and carry into the mall or church or wherever.

Resembles a knap saac ... a dark space where worries are shoved ... to support the don't fret clause ... an aphorism? These vary from metaphors ... which should be deeply researched but real people don't dig that activity ... they just don't wish to know much ... an author on stinking dogs?

Tis a wild connection ...

Too many purses n bags n even pockets lol
(and my most recent 1 either I was carrying too much or someone sneakily tried to cut it off of me...)
I'll take a piccy of my tie purse made by my SIL and post it here

I did meals on wheels with a man about my own age, also retired, tonight. We both had very similar, small canvas bags, containing wallet, cell, a bottled water, on the floor...
