My guy has fallen under the spell of Saving Hope. A medical series with a decidedly weird twist. I am not enjoying it as much as Grey's Anatomy or Transplant.

I enjoyed Saving Hope. It is different from Grey's, New Amsterdam and Transplant. It does have its own virtues.

We've been watching a lot of Midsomer Murders and Call the Midwife. Our Gem app has not been letting us move to the next midwife episode. :( Hopefully it is a glitch that will resolve.

We just finished watching Downton Abby for the nth time. I really appreciated the photography, costumes, etc this time.

Don't watch much. There are tons of Korean dramas, talk shows, cooking shows, and animation on TV, but I don't grasp the language. We'd Netflix for a while but then the subscription came to an end and we didn't renew. Mostly what I watch on TV is CNN, BBC news, and FOX news. I also watch a fair bit of YouTube and have my favorite channels

I confess to be watching Love is Blind - UK on Netflix. It's rubbishy but kinda fun, and a kind of cool premise - that you can form a relationship with someone knowing nothing of their appearance.

A YouTube channel that I've started watching a lot is that of Dami Lee. Dami is a Canadian architect and YouTuber based in Vancouver who does videos looking at principles of design and architecture, often by analyzing fictional architecture but also real world examples. Her latest, for instance, was on the old Kowloon Walled City, a community that essentially grew to the point where it was a single huge, chaotic structure (torn down in the nineties, though) but she's also talked about cities from Dune and various Japanese manga. She even talked about some interesting Japanese structures on a trip to that country. Videos are usually in the 15-20 minute range with at least one going to half an hour. They are, however, quite dense in terms of the amount of information and ideas in that short time.

Oh, and if you scout around, there's at least one video about an interesting project she's been involved with as an architect.

We're watching Man on the Inside on Netflix. It's a mini-series. Ted Danson plays a man who goes into a seniors facility to investigate thefts at the facility. We're halfway through and enjoying it.

Interestingly, they just shut down a seniors facility in Norwich, just outside of Woodstock Ont., when they discovered the Director of Care, was depositing the seniors monthly cheques into her own bank account.

If anyone is looking for a good tear jerker,
"Gifted" on Netflix, is a good choice
A little girl being raised by her uncle for years after his sister died, is suddenly found to be a math prodigy after she starts grade one.
Kleenex required!

Thanks guys for the suggestions for viewing.
Last night we both really enjoyed Hidden Figures. on Netflix . It is about three black women who were crucial to the success of the US space programme. Shows the discrimination they faced and the changes they caused. Fascinating.

I started watching No Good Deed on Netflix last night. It has Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano in it along with other good actors. It was very good.
