We just finished watching The Long Game on Netflix. It's about a Mexican-American teacher who was not allowed to join a golf club in the 50's. He starts a golf club at the high school. It consists of 5 Mexican-American students. They play in a competition on the golf course that doesn't allow Mexicans. It's based on a true story and is very good.

I watch Netflix while I exercise in the morning. I've been watching the series "The Resident"...lots of hospital drama. It shows all the blood and guts too. But I took a break from it to watch "Man on the Inside". What a nice Seniors' Home! And what a good show. Now, on recommendation from here, I'm going to look up "Gifted".

Man on the Inside is really excellent. I got the recommendation from this thread.
Gifted is also good.
We are watching Dead to Me right now. It's good if you are in the mood for quirky drama.
Lost interest in Grey's Anatomy after a few seasons.

We watched that one too. I recommend it to others who have missed it so far.

Movie - Juror #2 - directed by Clint Eastwood. Excellent!
Wow. I'd heard Clint had a new one coming but did not realize it was out. Great reviews and getting good audience scores on the metasites, too. The guy is still going strong at 94.

Wow! I didn't realize he was 94....good for him. So it's out in the theatres?

We've been watching the series American Primevel ......there are only 6 episodes.....but it is sooo good. Apparently (Netflix claims) it's #1 series globally. That actually convinced me we should give it a go.
It's American history in the days of taking over the Indians territory and Brigham Young claiming land in Utah ( not so nicely) and the US army forging forward.( Also not so nicely.) And of course the Natives fighting them all and each other. There are relationships formed over many hard ships and the brief good moments.
It wasn't until episode2 that I was hooked.
Warning, it can be gory and realistic but then that's probably how it was.

Honourable mention that we also watched is, " I Know Why The Crawdad Sing."
Beautiful scenery without.
This is about a very poor family that started out together in the swamp area of the USA and slowly fell apart due to an abusive father. Eventually the youngest child (7yr ?) remains in the shack by the river to fend for herself.....so the rest of the story focuses on how she survives with very little help and how she becomes the primary suspect of a murder trial.
And yes there is a love story within...and it's beautiful.
If you just want a feel good movie that tugs at your heart, I recommend it. My guy liked it too.

I'm sooooo sorry, the name of the film is "Where The Crawdads Sing".....I think I must have mixed it up with " I know Why The Caged Bird Sings". (at least that's what I'm telling my self)
On Netflix

Have you read the book? It's very good

Watching One Day at a Time on Netflix. It's a remake of the series from the 1970's. Very good but some episodes are funnier than others.

I'm thinking about cancelling my Netflix. I just don't watch it. I must look and see if there's anything I need to see before we drop it. The Big Guy wants premium YouTube and I wouldn't mind not having my sleep meditation tracks start and end with a loud ad...

Sleep tracks? When out of it is something cast off? Thus roomers ... little people in my head! Sometimes they create rackets and rants ... star dusts like stellar running over the horizon ... off they goes ... confusing mort's ...
