What are you watching these days?

it is an app that either came with my s20 fe or appeared on one of the updates

it has a limited selection of free shows
but i like it for the Dr Who :3

I'll have to check for it. I have an old Samsung phone. I'll be calling Telus soon to see if I can get a loyalty deal. Shaw/Rogers has been wooing me and I can see if Telus is interested in keeping a customer. I won't ever switch to Rogers. They don't need to know that though. :)

We've been watching Traitors on the CTV app. The Canadian show is currently running. We've watched the American version, NZ and UK versions. The premise is that about 20 people go to a castle or mansion. A few among them will be made traitors and the remaining faithfuls. The goal is to eliminate the traitors. Throughout the series, they participate in challenges to increase the pot of winnings. Each evening there is a round table where contestants have the task to banish a traitor. One contestant will be "murdered" in the night. It is an interesting show. It is interesting to see how the stress of figuring out who's the traitor(s) affects the group. So far, the Americans are the shallowest and therefore the dumbest. It's an interesting game.

I watched a taste
It looks like a lot of fun :3

How is the host?

Could the entire thing be staged as an act? Would Shakespeare then be proven right about what isn't ...? Thus the culture has turned on itself because of reason yet unknown? So much to learn and so many so set in their way ... thus a portion must be silent and dark about what they gathered ..mostly from experience! Powers hold the chitz ...

I find Politics can become more enjoyable if I reframe the people involved as engaging in Kayfabe

this is amazing
nice world building -- what an alien ecosystem
showing, not telling
apparently the short precursor that 4 years later got turned into the Scavenger Reign series

Realize that beyond the mind and our isolation there (some aren't) that the physical aspect of life is truly cannibalistic ...

This may appear as a deep dark hole or point in reversal ... a flip process of the din aerie ... dissonance?

this looks fun

apparently only like 5 words in the entire film

watch your volume with this trailer. horror Science Fiction

(I also really dug SIGNS a lot --i had my own views on the movie..don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it.)

The words of a Savant? Excellent in one small Wahl din field? Maybe resembling an inky node with blink 'n ... A quelle, or a killing?

I have a new TV and one of the apps in the app store is Tubi. Basically free streaming with commercials. So rather like watching good old broadcast television. While I exercised this afternoon, I watched Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, one of the rare Showa era (1954-1975) Godzilla movies I have not seen. And watching Godzilla on a Saturday afternoon with commercials kind of took me back because that's exactly how I saw a lot of the old kaiju (monster) movies as a kid. An independent station in Buffalo ran old horror and s-f movies on Saturday afternoons.

As for the movie, not a favourite. Two thirds of it, maybe more, is just an action thriller with a group of Japanese people mixing it up with agents of an alien invader. Only near the start and again in the last 15 minutes or so do we get a classic monster battle as Godzilla and an Okinawan monster called King Cesar take on the titular Mechagodzilla, who is basically the aliens' heavy artillery.

Aww man, I want Mechagodzilla to win. So cool.

I haven't seen it since it came oot
(on our old appleII+ we had a game simulating Godzilla movies called Crush Crumble and Chomp. You could choose Giant Ape, Godzilla essentially, Mothra essentially, giant radioactive catepillar, Kraken...you had to destroy stuff and eat stuff to keep going, each monster had different plusses and negatives and you got to choose which city you attacked...and the humans got better as time went on...)

Hey, have you heard that another new Godzilla movie is coming out? It looks insane!

Mechagodzilla has a funny history. In some movies, he's the enemy, usually being used by either evil aliens or humans as a weapon. His latest appearance in the Legendary Godzilla vs. Kong had him controlled by evil humans IIRC (I haven't seen it yet). He usually loses in those. But there's some, I think, in the Heisei era (1984-97 or so), where he's a weapon used by humans to fight an evil Godzilla. Not sure how those ones turn out.

I had a similar, or maybe the same, game on my C64. The one I had actually had a license from Toho to have the Big G in the game.

It's out in theaters. Godzilla Minus One. Had a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes for a while but I haven't checked to see if that's held up. It is a standalone reboot that is actually set earlier than the original 1954 Gojira, occurring right after WWII.

Been watching the outcome of past NB auditor general for the PC's ... as he is tried for stealing clients money while he was a representative of the law (lawyer).

He gambled it all away and is said to be in a state of poverty! Imagine those that declare the PC's are far advanced over liberalization ...

Should all the poles be locked up? Imagine the lessor of 2 evils as covered in Master and Commander! Evil is among us ... we need a great san' bed to filter out the crap ...

Last week a man that declared he would like to hang, f**k and shoot Trudeau worships the alternate kind ... beware of ideals ... he de friended me after declaring me a snowflake ... Kohl AH!

Rewatching this classic

by Will Vinton (claymation animator)

The sheer craftsmanship on this is mind boggling

Plus Mark Twain.

1 hour 26 minutes of imagination incandescence

Enjoy
