In fact, were he alive, I'd say get him to do it given that he had background in radio so likely could handle voice acting. And, realistically, a lot of the older characters would be dead, including Nick and Relic. So is this going to be more about the younger characters as grown-ups or something? Still seems weird to me. Probably better to do it as a reboot or reimagining than a sequel as implied by "what are these characters doing now?".

We watched The Journal on Netflix. It got a thumbs up from both of us. A love story, dementia, and a brilliant bit of story telling all in one.

I am watching it in an actual theatre

Tho I am sure somewhere on the net you could find it if you get me

My wife and I had a VCR because we loved old movies :3
 
My big guy and I can't do a long movie in the theatres. The seats don't suit his bulk nor his replacement hip. About 1'45" is max.

I'm looking forward to seeing it, when it streams, even if I have to pay $8 for it.

We also want to see Barbie.

pleasant surprises at actresses and actors

Oh yeah.

Been watching since I was a litte girl. Memories of my maternal grandmother who was from Yorkshire!
It started in 1960!

They do cover topics which are current, plus standard soap stuff.
One of the current items is the don't ask, don't tell of gay ministers in the Church of England.

In a church institution can you imagine being told to not ask, nor tell ... thus supporting the Sounds of Silence and perhaps a very deep space as a strange domain within a mortal dgree? Can these degrees grow unconsciously? Damn that's bad a' me ... like Ba Doubt 'veh elle ... that' Sur!

my fav character is the orange tabby in the credits :3

i used to watch it when visiting the Island with my Aunt's mum...we would watcht that and play cribbage...she was a cribbage FIEND!
