Exactly! I understand that a web of cooperation is forming in the earth. When it achieves critical mass, humanity will be offered opportunity to reconsider priority and commitment.
Okay, but that's not what I understand by "coercive power", hence my puzzled response. Glad to hear we are on a similar wavelength after all.

Im having trouble with the word power....cooperative wisdom?

I think power needs to be there. Wisdom is not enough to effect change. You have to have the ability to actually change things and that is, by definition, power. It's just that we need to use that power with wisdom. Both need to be present. And, as I said, we need to move away from coercive power, where change is imposed by strong arming people. Power needs to come from shared effort, not be imposed, if we are break the cycle of war and violence.

If everybody had Jesus there would be no need of police, armies and bombs. World hunger would be obsolete. Freeland would not be our finance minister. Everything would make sense. Even you.
That is the Reign of God yes. Converting everyone to one religious perspective does not create the Reign of God. Historically speaking, the Christian world has shown itself remarkably bad at ending hunger and creating a peaceful just society. SO maybe we are missing something thus far?

Not quite. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. By the Holy Spirit, given in the name of Jesus, by God, we are guided away from the structures of power and into the practice of compassionate inclusion.

Yes and we know the current president in particular is greedy for power. I'm saying that and acknowledging that most people who get to that level of leadership have a love of power. A good leader will recognize the inherent power in the position and use it wisely rather than gloat and wallow in it.

Now I am thinking of Frodo and his resistance to the seduction of power.

You ,ay recall the early congregation at Corinth. Everybody in the congregation had Jesus. But somehow that congregation seemed to behave like the Hatfields and McCoys at times...

Well you seem to claim that you have Jesus in you. So if we also had Jesus in us then we would be just like you? Scary thought indeed. Somehow I don't see any of those things you cite above disappearing. BTW I am only going by the things you say and post on here for my reference. So only my opinion.

This just in: Georgia completed the requested recount. Biden is still the winner.

Here. This link goes straight to it:

Better than 85% now I think for Trump. Will be weird with a Dem VP though instead of Pence.

That's just a stupid trick. Another con. That's someone, I'll bet, on Trump's team behind the scenes, floating the idea on right wing media to see how Trump supporters react. If they can handle making a concession for a Dem VP to keep their beloved Trump in power, he'll have no problem throwing (edit) Pence under the bus in another desperate bid to stay in power.

Or maybe it's just Crowder's team making s**t up and seeing if it sticks. His job is at risk of becoming much less lucrative soon, afterall.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Stay in the bubble.

Okay I skimmed through and listened to all I can take. The "vote" dump he's talking about was from mail in ballots that were received but not counted by the end of the night. I recall a place being ordered to hold their mail in ballots until the in person ballots were counted (they did that in BC election by the way - and they had to wait several days first. In our case it ended up in a couple of flipped seats but no change in overall outcome. Horgan was predicted to get a majority and he did. Nobody thought it might be a really tight race and it wasn't - his favourability was at a high point.)

One of the main reasons is because Dem voters were predicted to be the majority of mail in votes. Trump was disparaging and discouraging mail-in votes, remember? There weren't zero mail ins for Trump. But Biden kicked his ass in the mail in votes because the mail in voters mostly can't stand Trump. It's not a mystery.

Maybe white blue collar voters there turned to Biden from Scranton PA - a working class city much like theirs. Maybe they were fed up with Trump. Maybe they'd lost too many to covid.

Another thing - the dead voters. Maybe there are some votes that were legally cast while sick people were alive. Mail in voting was open for several weeks and people have died since then because of Trump's inaction and focus on himself. Only now is he trying to appear like he's doing something.
