Midterm elections r important (more than POTUS elections)

Through them the real people who get things done in the US get elected. The ordinary people.

States have changed through midterm elections
It is easy 2 b nihilistic aboot "oh nothing can b done" but that methinks is simple laziness

I do hope these US Midterm elections will b a flood

Ty David Brin 4 showing me a way past nihilistic despair and the media promotion of FEAR and ANXIETY!

I like Brin too but for a 'Go-to-Guy' that is not at all lazy ...

What is The Conscious Resistance?

(Reflections on Anarchy and Spirituality, the first book in The Conscious Resistance series. http://theconsciousresistance.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/reflections.pdf)

There is a deep struggle in this world that dates back thousands of years and has created an untold amount of suffering. It is a struggle towards freedom and peace taking place while so-called ‘civilizations’ are ravaged by slavery, genocide and war. Today, many of us live under the illusion that these horrors are a thing of the past or the problems of some far-away land, but they are just as real today as they were in the middle ages. These problems are just as real in America as they are in the rest of the world.

To heal the widespread suffering in this world there are many social and political changes that must take place. The entire structure of our societies must change in order to achieve peace and freedom for all people. While a truly utopian world is likely impossible, a world without systematic and socially acceptable violence would certainly be a paradise compared to what we have now.

To create the social and political changes necessary to end the violence, we must use a different method than those tried in the past. We cannot simply storm the gates of the castle and hang the masters from the highest trees. This will only result in a new master sitting on the same throne, exactly as we have seen throughout history, again and again.

Real change comes from within. In order to stop this cycle of madness, we need an evolution of consciousness. The state and all of its predatory appendages, like the corporate and military industrial complexes, are more than groups of people with weapons who need to be overthrown– they are bad ideas that can be rendered obsolete with the right combination of good ideas.

Wasn't this world meant to give us experience in dealing with madness? *

Consider the insane misunderstanding between:

Eits a small understanding about which a lot goes astray from the experience of getting beyond locked into intuition without a thought of processing the potential exclusion ... some say immersion in life as a fire ... this is out-there process as Gnostic phenomena was dissociated from the church as scientific split in virtue ... thus causing a schism in real and unreal numbers ... tis complex hoard to grasp (Just label it as NDe, or no OBI ... ends are posteri us as following the alimentary section ... those that believe everything they see ... even things warped in the heat of desire ... suite dreams of CEO's to control the 'ole thing?

Ass-ide --- You do know that "H" is a holy space in Hebrew thought as aboriginal ... while in Greek it was ETa ... something to be consumed ... impressions shift dependent on the traditions you were in when it hit you ! Thus Sir Loins part ...

* this how one can connect One Flew Over ... with To Kill A Mocking Bird ... authorities that are sure of their intuition al ego can't be wrong as part of the philosophy of solipsism! (so many stories to connect to allow a world view as a larger story)

Does a stray consciousness come over us when dead to this world ... whys some drugs get the handles of snow or blow and thus the spirit in this material can blow the conscious minds of good men as a communicable disease ... some get addicted to the impressed mother within ... be cautious if that impression was a destructive mother myth ... MOG could this swing as a penned Dulem? You know the nature of the LEM? Did it crash too ... Moo nin ... is a metaphor to know from both ends ...

Vision of the baffling structure of duplicitous politics ... Trump constructing mental walls ... an insane separation all things ... encouraging us not to get it together through fearsome Taur id oris ... outrageous oration? Fear marches on in team with the fight against terrorism ... an enigma bigger than humanity! Imagine something so explosive ... a psychic incident? Thus tempered ... like cop pur in the land of imagination as E gyþ't ... a Jibe, or other point of order as jus Mist ...

Amor as foggy words ... fuzzy logos?

Hi,
...they are bad ideas that can be rendered obsolete with the right combination of good ideas.
Which would require persons to think critically and act responsibly; a determined refusal of distraction and diversion.

As Aristotle said, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”

Smart guy, that Aristotle. Mostly. He was still more of a rationalist than an empiricist but at least he made some effort at learning from observation, unlike his teacher.

As for the subject of this thread, his performance in the UK was pretty much as expected. One minute he's giving an interview in which he claims Teresa May's approach to Brexit will scuttle US-UK trade talks and endorses Boris Johnson. The next minute, he's calling his own remarks "fake news".

Why we go to church ... to entertain thoughts and attempt to draw them in ... they are cold outside the heated Circe!

Redefine insane! It appears to be a misnomer ...
