She has a good head on her shoulders
I think either she's not being honest with herself or she's being used. "'Red Pill' Black Girl"? Right. What is that? She cannot be serious that "the media" as in MSM created this. Birtherism, Trump, the red pill/ alt-right, Alex Jones, gamer-gate MRA's, the neo-nazis, KKK, those whatever Boyz, Milo, Brietbart, and Russia created it. And it is a problem.

If anyone is wondering, this is the misogynist "Red Pill Constitution" put forward by a group of the anti-feminist men's rights movement.

If anyone identifies with "red-pill" in today's political climate - it is not a Matrix reference anymore - they are identifying with the alt-right, born from dark corners of the Internet, which is a hodge-podge of bigotry...and even some whose interest it doesn't serve, have bought into it or are being used to promote it. Which is typical of "cons".

It's garbage. I'm posting it so people can see it's garbage. It's like a cult feuled by fear of losing power to equality.

Mattis and the military commanders (whom Trump calls "my generals") have become quite uppitty against their commander in chief lately. Remember the generals response to Charlottesville? That was a clear shot at Trump. I notice that in his announcement on this issue, Mattis said that the panel that he's forming that will make recommendations on this issue "will bring mature experience, most notably in combat and deployed operations, and seasoned judgment to this task." Sounds to me like a shot aimed directly at Trump's lack of such mature experience and sound judgment.

Does Mattis answer to Trump?

Thatz a brilliant bit of words
One of my fav's is in the Bibble where that olde King was turned into Lucifer and now forever due to that Satire his character is forever broken lol
I miss powerful Satire...

Satire is bad stuff if you catch it ... people will say you have a satyr ... and you may feint away because of flighty reactions ... or psyche that are light and glow on their own instead of because of the fire within ... although this may be taken as ambiguous in the noble beasts that apply power altruistically ...

But that is not here or now at this time ...

Everybody answers to God ... and right now Trump is IDe ... even if it is taken as ambiguous satyr ... that may not be how it appears or otherwise ... incarnate ... instead of carnal just to confuse minds!

Thus the difficulty with interpretation because of the problem of gathering satyrs ... isn't that a deviate literary form? People are not really interested in varied forms ... especially dark ones ... an area where a person can think in isolation ... about the ridiculous state that humanity is in for no obvious rational ...

One must recess into a wee dark spot ...

Mattis answers to Trump - in theory. But Trump has lost the power to command.
There was a recent video of Mattis talking to troops at a base somewhere. Many believe it was taken by one of the troops without Mattis knowing it. He spoke pretty clearly about where his loyalty was - to the troops and not to Trump. There have been things happening recently that make me think that the military leaders are just starting to ignore Trump. As you say, he's lost the ability to command.

You'll notice that he hasn't. Trump is a president with no support, not even in his own party. And if he fired a general now, you can bet that congress would pull the plug on him. The U.S. is now run by the military, the CIA and the very wealthy.
As usual.

I just read in a British paper (I don't know how reliable it is) that Russia is evacuating its border area with North Korea.

Which British paper? That's an important detail. I'd take something from The Guardian more seriously than The Daily Mail.

Nothing in the Guardian that I can see. It's in The Daily Star, The Daily Mail, The Sun and The Express. As far as I can see from Google searches it doesn't seem to be being reported in any other papers in any other countries.
