Actually what happened to the native peoples of the Americas after 1492 is now happening to all of us - and for the same reason. Our societies are being destroyed by the greed of a few. You can see that in obvious form all over Africa and the middle east and Latin America. But it's also present here and in Europe.
We have killed millions, notably in Asia, the middle east, Europe is going through a devastating social breakdown as the dumping ground for the Muslims the U.S. has made into refugees.
As with native peoples, greed is destroying all societies. And Hillary Clinton has been a very active part of the process. American democracy is such a hypocrisy that it doesn't matter which of them gets elected. No president has been in charge for decades. Clinton has shown herself to be very much a hawk. And Pr. Jae is nothing but show biz.
People in the U.S. are angry. But they don't know where to go because they have so cultural/signposts to know where to turn. So they settle for simply, general anger. That's the Trump vote. Or they show continuing fear and panic by turning to Clinton.
The people who really control the U.S. are going to continue their hold on power by building on fear, by increasing poverty, by inflicting horror on most of the world.
Hillary has been a steady supporter of the war in Yemen, a war made extraordinarily brutal with weapons supplied by the U.S. and Britain. Why are they killing people in Yemen? Why are they killing them in Syria? Why did they kill them in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Nobody has even asked those questions. The greed that led to those killings - and many more - has never been acknowledged by any American politician except, to a minor degree, by Bernie Sanders.
As we destabilized native peoples long ago, we are now destabilizing the world - including our own countries. The popular support for Trump is a sign of that destabilization. And the election of people like Clinton is the cause of that destabilization.
There has been a systematic redistribution of wealth in the U.S. (and Canada) for decades - from the poor to the rich. Heard anything about that from either Clinton or Trump?
