TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

You read the National Post? You would have loved Mein Kampf.
The U.S. is going to get a disastrous president no matter who it elected. Bush was a disaster. Obama is a disaster. Hillary and Trump are both disasters.
We have, since 1492, broken down social structures all over the world. We have murdered on a scale unmatched in history. We are now facing our crisis of greed. And neither Clinton nor Trump even acknowledges that any of this has happened.
Tell us all about Hillary's thoughts on climate change. Get Pr. Jae to tell us about Trump's.
This whole thing is a tragic farce. And they both spend more time calling each other childish names than they do about the realities facing the U.S.
The U.S. is not aiding Saudi Arabia in the mass murder in Yemen, poorest of all the arab states. Britain, too, it helping, as is Canada. It's deliberatle bombing and s tarvation of civilians, deliberate destructiong of schools and hospitals.
Has either of them even mentioned it? And how much have you seen or read in your news media?
The world is on a final binge of murder and looting. Neither candidate has indicated any interest in this. Nor, frankly, would it matter if they did. The U.S. president has long ceased to be anything but an errand boy.
And I really do not understand why a Christian web site would discuss this with no Christian context whatever.

Sorry. I should have written the US is NOW aiding Saudi Arabia in the murdering and starving, etc......
Incidentally, only 5% of the Clinton Foundation money ever goes to the needy.

Actually the figure is 90%.

I do read NP from time to time to get the conservative leaning perspective. I don't agree with much of the editorial commentary but I find Andrew Coyne to usually be reasonable, and I sometimes but not always agree with him. I respect his opinion and the way he presents it. He's the kind of conservative I might actually vote for if he were a candidate rather than a pundit. You should actually read the article. He is "laying blame" on all of us, including himself as a journalist and member of the media, for the Trump rise - and the reasons are very well thought out and presented.

I can't believe anyone could possibly support

Then try looking at it through the Moist Robot lens
That we human beings while responsible for our actions make our decisions irrationally based on our feelings and prior beliefs (and if asked why we made that decision we will make something up) and then whenever new data comes in we will use confirmation bias. So Clinton supporters will acknowledge the racism of trump but will ignore the racism of Clinton.

And then there are people who can manipulate this for good and ill. Clinton's Godzilla and Trump are VERY good at it.

The latest, trump going back on his earlier Birther Obama statement can be explained (one lens) as he had to get the GOP on his side. As you may recall they were against him for the longest time and even tried some shenanigans during the RNC to get him invalidated as a candidate.

Scott Adams is revering the actions of a f'king con man. And a racist. No other candidate before Obama was ever questioned about his birth certificate. Cruz could've probably let it slip by if it weren't for the Obama precedent. The man said he was born in Hawaii - why did Trump continue the conspiracy take it to extremes after it was debunked thoroughly - because he was selling it to the racists (just have a look at all the disrepctful racist garbage memes that came from the south, out of that Birther lie). so they could justify their racism and look up to Trump for validating it. Leading from a position totally built on a lie is... Deplorable. The world knows it. Scott Adams is grasping at straws.

Actually what happened to the native peoples of the Americas after 1492 is now happening to all of us - and for the same reason. Our societies are being destroyed by the greed of a few. You can see that in obvious form all over Africa and the middle east and Latin America. But it's also present here and in Europe.
We have killed millions, notably in Asia, the middle east, Europe is going through a devastating social breakdown as the dumping ground for the Muslims the U.S. has made into refugees.
As with native peoples, greed is destroying all societies. And Hillary Clinton has been a very active part of the process. American democracy is such a hypocrisy that it doesn't matter which of them gets elected. No president has been in charge for decades. Clinton has shown herself to be very much a hawk. And Pr. Jae is nothing but show biz.
People in the U.S. are angry. But they don't know where to go because they have so cultural/signposts to know where to turn. So they settle for simply, general anger. That's the Trump vote. Or they show continuing fear and panic by turning to Clinton.

The people who really control the U.S. are going to continue their hold on power by building on fear, by increasing poverty, by inflicting horror on most of the world.
Hillary has been a steady supporter of the war in Yemen, a war made extraordinarily brutal with weapons supplied by the U.S. and Britain. Why are they killing people in Yemen? Why are they killing them in Syria? Why did they kill them in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Nobody has even asked those questions. The greed that led to those killings - and many more - has never been acknowledged by any American politician except, to a minor degree, by Bernie Sanders.
As we destabilized native peoples long ago, we are now destabilizing the world - including our own countries. The popular support for Trump is a sign of that destabilization. And the election of people like Clinton is the cause of that destabilization.
There has been a systematic redistribution of wealth in the U.S. (and Canada) for decades - from the poor to the rich. Heard anything about that from either Clinton or Trump?

Oh - re Huffington Post....I spend hours every day studying newspapers from all over the world. Don't trust Huffington Post. It has a few good writers. But not many. And it has a lot of very bad ones.
Anyone who babbles about Bill Clinton rehabilitating himself by helping the poor is not to be trusted.
His affair with Monica was not an aberration. He has a long record of such affairs, sometimes crossing the path of another sex maniac, Prince-what's his name, the younger brother of Charles. And Hillary hung onto him because he was her ticket to the Senate and to a presidential nomination.

And before you quote a source, learn something about it. universities are full of 'charitable' foundations that actually generate propaganda. Your factcheck source is full of active democrats. Universities and professors can be bought - and they commonly are. (I was once offered attractive money to be a front for the oil industry.)

In fact, the woods are full of phony propaganda groups like the Fraser Institute, the CDHowe, etc. These are often quoted in the news though they are blatant propaganda houses.

factcheck is a spinoff of the Annenberg Foundation whose owners felt it terribly, terribly important to tell the world all about how Democrats are good for you. And, as is common with other such foundations, it is associated with a university to give itself status. Universities can be bought. They are every day.
