TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

Remember that Kimmio thinks that sexism against men is alright because men have been in power too long...
So her morality is questionable
She makes up words
She when discussing something brings in so many concepts that it is difficult to find the actual discussion
So its no surprise that she is ok with the DNC breaking the law and moral law...
Her anxiety must be assuaged but it can't be. Society causes her didability. Other sex workers cause all sex workers to be oppressed. Dying with dignity will lead us to send her to the ovens. I wonder just how far she'd go to deal with her anxiety? How far would she cheat lie steal commit violence? She does generate a lot of copy.
Ahh who knows. Its late and am still glad she's a friend.
Life is too serious to be serious.
And so it goes.
It's important to remember when chatting with @Kimmio that her #1 consideration is whether or not something feels right to her. Not whether something is logical, not whether something is based on facts, just where her own personal feelings lead her.

Excuse me, 'gentlemen'. It's politer to engage with kimmio than to talk about her.

Jae, you're claiming because you're both "F"s that you understand another person's pov. Maybe another person is just righteously pissed off and tired of living in a racist, able-ist, sexist world.

Not because we're both F's, but because Kimmio is an Fi-dom. My point is that for Fi-doms, it doesn't matter how much their claims (such as that racism, ableism, and sexism are occurring) are objectively grounded in reality so long as they feel right to them. And so we have @Kimmio, who's wildly exaggerating the threat Trump poses - because doing so feels right to her.

Wildly exaggerating about Trump, the wildest exaggerator - narcissistic self-aggrandizer - we've ever seen run for President.

Just listen to the man's words and apply common sense.

Anyway, no point in this discussion... I am being baited.
Yes you are.

A nice try, and I appreciate the satire.

Ultimately falls flat since I'm an Ne-dom. Fi is my auxiliary function.

Funny thing is you just described yourself to a T.
Again
Beware of attributing anything or giving any of one's self to Jae
Remember he is here for Shits n Giggles

The truth is that All of us here don't base our decisions on rationality but rather on feelings and identity (or rather the Rational Decider hypothesis doesn't account for certain behaviours as the Moist Robot hypothesis does) and we can tend to shove our planks together when we experience someone with a different internal movie

And so it goes

Yes, listen to Inannawhimsey by all means.

Now let's focus on a fair, measured, balanced response to Donald J. Trump.

I don't understand the fuss about Kimmio. I don't always agree with her, but I've always found that her letters carry the spirit of a very attractive person.
As for Trump and Clinton, read some history. The U.S. has been invading other countries every since 1775. All of its territory in North American was acquired by killing native peoples - expect for the part that was acquired by invading Mexico. It has invaded most South American countries - often several times. It took Hawaii away from its native peoples. It has imposed some of history's most brutal dictators all over the world.
It has murdered millions just in the last 50 years. It has destroyed whole nations. It is destroying South America and much of Africa to get their mineral resources. It has enforced poverty on the local people to keep them as cheap labour. It routinely uses hired killers (special ops) to murder anyone anywhere in the world who displeases American big business.
The US has never in its whole history been a nation of equal rights or equal opportunity. It was, in its earliest years, a nation of some democracy though, even then, the great majority did not have the right to vote (Blacks, women and, in many states, people who did not own property, could not vote.) It has, increasingly over the last century, become a government owned by the wealthy. It is corrupt and rotten to the core. It encourages war because war is profitable for its war industries. In the last 30 years, it was seen growing poverty as the wealthy avoid taxes, effectively robbing everyone else with the result that the wealthy have a constantly growing share of the wealth. The same thing is happening in Canada.
For the last 8 years, Hillary Clinton has been a major figure in all of this. After all, she worked with Obama who has been very much a part of this process, continuing exactly the foreign policy of Bush - except that he set a presidential record in the building of nuclear weapons. He also pioneered the development of smaller ones so they could be more flexible in their uses.
Trump is a lout and possible demented. Hillary is a vicious, greedy, and murderous person.
There is no choice. Neither of them is acceptable.
And anybody who doubts anything I have written above can most certainly challenge me on it.

As to Kimmio, I've always felt from her posts that she must be a particularly pleasant person.

As for the choice between Trump and Clinton, there is none. American democracy ended a long time ago. The Republicans and the Democrats are both tools of big business. And Canada is well advanced in that path. Bush and Obama have both been murderous in the service of big business, and both have been disasters in foreign affairs. And Clinton has supported their murderous policies every step of the way.
America ran out of choices a long time ago.
We get deluded because the U.S. has a mythical history of itself of goodness and freedom. It's all nonsense. But people believe it, and it's peddled constantly in TV, movies, and popular thought.

I'm surprised you're singling out the U.S. in your condemnation, graeme. When it comes to resource extraction exploitation, Canadians are pretty 'good'...I think our complicity makes us unsuitable commentators on the U .S. election.

Overall, I absolutely agree with you. Some rare times, however, she seems to just let her raw emotions take control. Like in all the exaggerated things she's now said about Trump.

Neither Clinton nor Trump are great candidates. Both, as candidates, are deeply flawed. Trump is to the smallest of degrees the better candidate. He shouldn't be behind bars, he'll appoint conservative judges to the SCOTUS, and has real purposes to stop illegal immigration and terrorism.

I discuss the U.S. because that was our topic. i could have added every empire that has ever existed - but nobody would read a post that long.
Canadians, mining companies in particular, have been as thick as thieves with the Americans in their looting of South America and Africa. The British Empire was as horrible as any in history - and it's still active in Africa and the middle east. In the Boer War, we sent Canadians to kill in a war that was purely in the interest of British mining companies. Now, we throw away Canadian lives to fight American wars - as in Afghanistan, and as might well happen in Syria and Eastern Europe.

Thank you @Graeme that's a very nice thing to say. I also enjoy the spirit of humour and wit that comes through in your posts. Particularly on the "last post" thread. However, regular political discussions with you may, from time to time, require me to up my anti-anxiety meds. :) ;)

His solutions to terrorism will, as always, create more of it. The disaster that is now American policy began in the Russian-Afghanistan war in which the CIA created al-quaeda. The invasion of Iraq created a shower of recruits for terrorist organizations. We created terrorism. Both Clinton and Trump would make it worse.
Stopping illegal immigration means stopping Mexicans and Muslims. And that's what is called racism.
Nor do I see the virtue of conservative judges.
