Really a totally amazing result. I am sure there will be books written about mistqkes made in the first few weeks that resulted in this.

But we shouldnt be so surprised really. I cringe with the interviews of ordinary people. They say things like " he is going to bring jobs back to America. He wants us to work...." I mean really. All politicians push the jobs jobs jobs line. Trudeau was middle class middle class middles class. But for some reason people seem to think he is the only one who can deliver.

What a shock they are in for
 
I don't know whether I should be happy :) to see my prediction coming to pass or not. It isn't like I actually want Mr. Trump to be the leader of the free world.

Obama's crack the other day about the media's role in giving Trump so much attention was priceless. Really, they sensationalized him for entertainment value right from the get-go, which is exactly what a guy like him hopes for. Even making fun of him worked in his favour - he doesn't care. Any publicity is good publicity in his world. As far as he's concerned, he is and always will be the greatest thing that ever happened to himself. And, what made it worse is that when the media took him seriously, his supporters did moreso. The media should've downplayed him - but I guess that's not how they work. However, they over-played him.

What is god in a pile ... PHD's and more doctrine ... in heaps? Some call it a library or even something with stacks ... when up properly could be fun to play wit' ... some would call it a totem ... thus it got carried on-off!

Word is like that without abstract thought and concerns about the surrounding containment ... always something ... consider it as environmental ... a disaster ... metaphorically ... or as virtue a mere failure?
 
Thus we who don't know ... wonder where the aL mons come from? Some grove down in GEO Ghia ... a greater power nurtures them to relieve the boredom in vast space ...

Can you imagine those people looking up at us from the dark? No the overhead light isn't that permanent ... just temporarily indigo ... till devoid of jinn's ... a differing kind of genre ... it's me again Margaret! Just that Piscine fantasy ... sort of like an abstract ... a bit obtuse for those not comprehending vast complexity? I have this odd reaction as I look back ... Oge Odd is that not'n ice ... stoic and rigid? There is that frosty look in her eye ... Deci ember twinkle of a strange spark?

I actually found myself hoping Mitt Romney would run again. But, then again, he would have a better chance at becoming president.

Anyway there are sane GOP members...alas they dont get the media coverage

David Brin suggests that this is the.time for all USAers to get in touch with sane conservatives and give them their support for all of America to wrest it from those mad oligarchs...

Sane conservative people ... a legitimate expression? That's as abnormal as sane liberals ... between the two the medium is also meanly out of it by the feather touch of something never often encountered in real life ... "sanity"?


Thus the words ethereal case ... involves thin cover as the object is unseen when rye ... naked truth? As I say few see it ...

As a believer in God, I feel it's possible that He did ask all of those candidates to run. Running is a different thing than winning. As for Mr. Trump, perhaps he also feels God asked him to run. After all, he's a good Christian - he knows his Two Corinthians.
 
Even still, he got a lot of the evangelical vote. Many Christians love him.

And now the Republicans he criticized are going to meet with him to see if there is any way they can support him. Think the Bush family will stand next to him at the convention, after what he did to Jeb? He personally torpedoed Jeb's chances. Without Republican support, he can't possibly win, can he? If the GOP somehow bends the rules and pulls the rug out from under him and run another candidate, they lose his supporters, Trump runs as an independent, and neither one will win a single state. It'll be a bloodbath.

And now, the Dems have to be absolutely giddy with anticipation. The problem there is, without effective opposition, there's likely to be rampant corruption and stupidity on the other side. This isn't healthy, but perhaps it is the only way for the Republican party to reinvent itself as something other than the party of stupid religious nutcases. Which they are.

If they do, where will the evangelicals turn? This just keeps getting more fascinating.

George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush have each independently issued statements saying they will not support Mr. Trump.

Hold it. Cruz isn't on that list? The evangelical answer to Trump? So he didn't have an endorsement from the big Republican in the sky? o_O
 
Does God with some diversity manage to speak to differing personalities from differing perspectives ... NOSH-ite?
