TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

It makes no difference who wins. American democracy died a long time ago. The government is owned by big business. George Bush jr. was never more than a puppet. Obama has followed policies almost identical to those of Bush. So will the next president.

Bernie Sanders will not win the Democrat leadership. The Democrat establishment will see to that. Hillary Clinton is magnificently corrupt, and she is owned by the war industries. All of the Republicans, including Trump, are in the same bag. (And I would bet on Trump to win the presidency.)

None of the candidates - except for Bernie Sanders - has anything that could be called a policy on anything. And Sanders has come a century too late to save the U.S.

To listen to Trump is like reading Mein Kampf. It's exactly the same pitch the naziis used. "Make Germany great again", destroy our racial inferiors who have ruined this country. The mood of the U.S. electorate is exactly what that of the German electorate was in the 1930s. And the big supporters of the mood, in both cases, is big business. Hitler could never have won without the heavy support of German, American (and Canadian and even British) big business. Funny how history books rarely talk about that.

The American destruction of whole societies will continue without even a pause to burp. And, in the process, the U.S. will destroy itself. The very wealthy will continue to get wealthier while everybody else gets poorer.

Canada, for all Ottawa's evasion, is a part of this. We are a U.S. colony as we once were a British colony. Like it or not, Trudeau has committed us to the war in Syria. Our presence there, in any guise, is illegal under international law. But international law has long since died.

And the church, no doubt, will when Canadians start to die, babble about them doing it for God and country. It never has occurred to the churches that you can stand for God or you can stand for patriotism. But you can rarely do both.

Can such understanding of single handed power result in rapport ... or something coming back at yah ... left crossover?

The most remarkable statistic yet about the presidential campaign was posted on CNN this morning, i. e., to date 48% of HISPANICS in Nevada voted for Trump, despite all his rhetoric about building the border wall. Less than halfof that voted for Rubio or Cruz, both Hispanics.

Graeme, we have a national late night interview show in the USA called "Coast to Coast." A recent political science author made the claim that all the candidates are bought and paid for--except Trump, who, as you point out, liked to demagogue it. A few nights later, the radio guest was the author of "Confessions of an Economic Hitman." He offered chilling details of how he used to dictate economic demands of corporations who control Washington to south American leaders, who were then assassinated if they didn't comply.

Do the Mafiosi despise other crooked Italians? Do the good ones attempt the better themselves over the other good ones ... the enigma of attribute of avarice ... controlling the weasel-lye uncontrollable ... cause lies are not as well construed as myths! Unless you get into the etude which is multiple ...not dual as some would manifest!

Not that it's any of my business, this proposed wall between two foreign nations, but I'm curious -

just how does Trump think he will get a foreign government to pay for the construction of a wall that will not benefit them?

who's side of the border will that wall be built on (it's my understanding that if a property owner builds a fence between his yard and the neighbour's that fence has to be wholly on the builder's property)?

part of the border follows a river, presumably the center of the river. will the wall be built down the center of the river? or on the American side? or will they invade a foreign country to build a wall on the Mexico side?

And then, there's at least a hint that they might build a wall along the Canadian border - much longer and more difficult terrain (including four immense lakes and mighty mountain ranges.

And the big question - once they get themselves walled in, will they stay behind the wall?

The ugly finger in the dyke syndrome? :ROFLMAO:

Interesting article from the Washington Post that offers reactions from two former Mexican presidents - Vicente Fox and Felipe Calderon - about the proposed wall.

Maybe we will have a Nous aLa Mose? In the spirit of sense deprivation ... my god/word of the dais ... that's heh, perhaps hehrn ... a hernia from rifting?

And Trump had the utter gall to complain about Fox's language after using some pretty strong language himself at points in this campaign. Pot, meet kettle.

Super Tuesday (1, there's two now) is next Tuesday. If Trump sweeps it, he's probably in as the GOP candidate. Hopefully, this means that the GOP have shot themselves in the foot again (ironic metaphor given the GOP stance on gun control, but I digress) but who knows? The Dems are in a tight fight of their own and Clinton has emailgate still threatening to erupt before November.

One would like to think that common sense will eventually prevail among our neighbors to the south, but as this primary season continues I'm beginning to wonder.

Trump makes me feel sick that our breather ins to the south are deprived of sense sufficiently to suck this up ...

Gives a whole Nous understanding to an ethereal rapture ... not a bleu JOB ...

The Donald has now been endorsed by Chris Christie, Governor of New Jersey and until recently a candidate for the Republican nomination for president. Considering that Trump recently acknowledged that he'll need a running mate familiar with politics to make up for his lack of political experience, I wonder if Christie is making a play for the vice presidential nomination.

Oh God, those two? Talk about Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum.

Of all the flatulent rhetoric uttered by Donald Trump, his arrogant claim that Mexico will pay for his wall (without first consulting the Mexican government) smells the worst. This remark should be included in the revised edition of Dale Carnegie's book, How to Make Friends and Influence People." Worst, of all, Trump's monicker, "The Donald," reduces me to just a Donald.

If it makes you feel better, you're a better Donald than he is. Whenever someone calls him "The Donald" I'm inclined to respond, "You left off the word 'Duck'."

Sort of politicians as volunteers for jobs they really should avoid as having too much confidence about what they don't know?

Could this hurt or is that the point of learning about things that shouldn't have bben and thus the concept of incarnate thoughts ... appearing as isn't ... a reversion of the primal thing? (confidence that he wanted to do what he couldn't) The Jonah syndrome ...

Oh, there'll be Movies of the Week, Oscar-Winning Movies, reality shows, Historical Novels, news items, Martha-Stewart-esque wall events ('Better Walls and Neighbours'), even game shows ('Clamber That Wall') done aboot it

Maybe the'll even paint the wall so that it will look like what the Egyptian Pyramids, apparently, were supposed to look like: bright blinding beautiful white
