TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

Screen them and welcome them - as we do people seeking asylum from any other oppressive regime. And it is a given that we would welcome back the thousands of Canadians now living and working in the States.

Provided they check their f-ing second amendment and the guns that go with it at the border along with their unchecked libertarianism. We do have laws up here and we do recognize that sometimes one right has to trump another.

Should they bier arms and other parts ... so the sects are displaced as in the images on the ceilings in Rome ... angels frustrated without means ... to Maas around a bit?

In fairness, Mendalla, they also recognize that sometimes one right has to trump another. The difference is that they believe that the right to bear arms is always the one that trumps every other right.

And this, from the wacky world of American politics: Dick Cheney has said that Donald Trump sounds like a "liberal Democrat" because he accused the Bush administration of lying about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq as the pretext for the 2003 invasion. But the Bush administration did in fact lie about there being weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Therefore, Donald Trump was telling the truth when he said that the Bush administration lied about there being weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Therefore, Dick Cheney is saying that anyone who tells the truth sounds like a liberal Democrat - which means that those who lie must be conservative Republicans in Dick Cheney's world? I'm just trying to connect the dots here.

Things are not completely as they appear or just incarnate? What is the conventional dictionary meaning of incarnate? Do we know word(s)? Diffuse literacy?

I guess I considered it a given that refugees coming into Canada would be required to obey Canadian law - including any and all Canadian gun laws. Leave your guns at the border - you don't need them here. And we don't want them.

But then there is this -- How Canadian!

Police have long been concerned about guns illegally making their way across the Canada-U.S. border, but a recent rise in gun crimes in B.C. is shedding light on a different weapons source: legal gun owners in Canada.

Police suggest some licensed owners have been legally buying guns and then illegally selling them on the black market, with some of these weapons ending up in the hands of drug dealers, gang members or other criminals.

Police call the practice “straw-purchasing,” and Sgt. Lindsey Houghton says “there’s a lot of money in it.”

It does not surprise me to find out it is happening and is a good reason for long gun registry. If every gun sold is registered to a specific owner by serial number, then when one is found in other hands and has not been reported stolen, the owner got some splainin' to do.

I mentioned the Wall around the States with tongue-in-cheek. Now I see on facebook that a blogger in Cape Breton is inviting Americans to immigrate to Cape Breton in the event Trump wins. He is surprised by the number of serious inquiries he is receiving.

I remember hearing aboot that when Bush Sr & Jr was in power as well :3

GO MENDY!!!

...and our inalienable rights are different from the USA's inalienable rights in that ours are dependent on the Government's whim (as written in our constitution), whereas the US' inalienable rights aren't (even tho their gov't time and time again tries to interfere with g_d's law/inalienable rights...)

such is the interplay between the World & the Word of g_d...so many fun problems :3

Fun observation :3

I hear from some of my American friends that Trump & Bernie are the ones that don't fit into either party -- they are more Independents, but they didn't go Independent, because hey, Independents don't get anywhere there?

Hopefully the Confederates in the GOP who are still trying to continue the Civil War (which is being supported by such august entities as Saudi Arabia) will either be nullified or their followers will clue in totally and dump them...maybe to a nice island where they can rant their crazy rants and not drag the USA down with them...

I have faith...oops :3

My American friends assure me that the only reason why the Ruskies haven't invaded the USA is the fact that so many of us are armed.
Americans are proud of the fact that during the height of the bilingualism debate in Canada, 1/3 of western Canadians polled expressed a preference for joining the USA as her next state!

People I know in the States have a lot of funny ideas about people outside their borders - including the idea that a hoard of Ruskies are panting to invade the States but are held back by American individuals with firearms.
As for the poll of Canadians - I haven't seen it, have no idea what the question was, or how many people in different parts of Canada were surveyed. For myself, I believe that if Canada breaks up (which is what separation would mean), then various areas would go independent rather than try to continue a connection with distant parts or join another nation. I certainly don't know many/any people from this province that would welcome an opportunity to be joined to northern Maine.

The Ruskies won't invade the US. They'd have to go through Canada - well, maybe they could take Alaska. We can't do anything about that. Although Sarah Palin can keep an eye on them from her living room. But getting past Alaska would be tough. We'd whup their behinds. We'd save you Amurricans.

Partisan followers or just more of the same as kins ... relations we don't know? Ask*in or ask not and thou shall not know ...

Is word like God ... a puzzle to those that deny immersion in that unknown territory? One creeps on in understanding and mortals hate intellects ...

While it is true that we are responsible for a wee fire at the White House in 1814, I don't know if we would be able to stop the Russians.

We seem to have our hands full with those upstart Danes who want our beloved Hans Island all to themselves.

I suspect we would politely ask the Russians to wait patiently in Alaska until we finally put paid to the Scandinavian churls who keep littering our island with their very bland red and white flag (compared to our majestic red and white flag) and their weak alcohol (compared to our noble brew).

And if the Ruskies declined not to wait, well, they better stay off the ice or we shall thrash them soundly.
