Rogan is a loveable lunk, in a way. Of all the IDW adjacent Internet interviewers, I like him the best. But he’s not really that smart (though he is really business savvy apparently). It’s a bad idea.
Maybe it’ll turn out ok - he might be able to get a discussion going, and he’s going to have to be really honest with himself when pitching the questions, about what he, and more importantly, Americans in general, value (it’ll be a disaster if he isn’t and he has a tendency to pander to whoever his audience is. He’ll say one thing to Cornell West and another to a right wing guest). I have serious reservations.
It is an exercise in comedic entertainment ... nothing more nothing less ... and has no bearing on my hope that the conscious people will eventually rise up and put these state jesters out of business.
