TRUMP - Some people think......... How do you feel?

We all have racist streaks. WE need to address it in ourselves before we can effect any change.

The Liberals also have policies that feed systemic racism. Trudeau can try to convince us he's an ally. The way he responded to Jodi Wilson - Raybould disabused many of us of that myth. Blanket statements serve no useful purpose.
I am addressing it in myself. Vs. People who won't acknowledge in themselves - like the offended Karens - therefore won't ever effect change unless they do.

Well as a middle aged white woman who believes in conservative ideas I guess you consider me A racist bigot idiot or some such label Lovely

that you can’t see the other side of politics is narrow minded and ridiculous

Harper was not a fascist. He was our elected PM who had different ideas than you. Doesn’t make him a fascist. Using that term, as you do , so freely for anyone you dislike demeans the word and you. Trudeau is not on the right. Your policies are not what everyone should believe in

Harper was a creeping fascist theocrat. I like you well enough and am willing to hear you out on a lot of things but i don't respect conservative politics at all anymore. Sorry.

It's hard for me to know people, who are not even religious, who voted for this man, and forgive them for it. It must've been about $ over principles.

I've posted this not too long ago. It's from 2006. Lots of us knew not to trust Harper since about then, though we didn't all know this many details. The fundementalist right was of concern to those paying attention. Maybe people insulated by money didn't have to care.

I wish I'd written this (I didn't):

"Because we live in a two-party system, there is an eternal need for legacy media outlets like the Times and CNN to be “balanced,” to give conservatism a platform to rebut all those dirty, screeching liberals. It’s as if the Timesstrives to recreate every hallway conversation on The West Wing by dishing out a healthy salary to any conservative writer who imitates a William F. Buckley fart from 1971 like it's a bird call. It’s a nice thought, this balance. And lord knows that liberals (like me) have a habit of shouting down those that they don’t particularly agree with.

But here’s why I do that from time to time: it’s because conservatism is a big f***ing lie."

you can't change that you are a middle aged white woman, but you can change your conservative beliefs. I hope you do.

I think we've lived under the fallacy that conservative politics stands for anything good and deserves equal consideration, for too long.

If one goes too far left ... does one become a remaining con ... righteous*Lei as blooming and flouring grind?

Something Moor to read into while out there in the storm --- some hounding expected from the Lady of the Lake!

Hated literary fantasy ... perhaps a weird device of ness ... device've Ness!

I do believe I've encountered Ide ... motive*Ace*ION! Then! the game of orientation in the bush ... dissenting wanderers as dispersed icons ... that'd be semitic as Comancheros! Cheery Oz ... wonders from down-under? Containment has its ups and downs ...

Thus intellect goes down hidden in ripe his toire! Intellectual fallacy ... considering all we don't know ... an illusion of knowing everything ...

Between left and right is the medium ... a finely read line or lyon to those beyond the thin red line defined by a bright old Seer ...

Burning truth in the darker form?
