What? Who has a relationship like that Bette? Honestly, after several marriages in my extended family have ended in divorce, my biggest fear is probably that ours someday will too. Her biggest fear is probably that we'll forever be locked in poverty.
 
I'm not talking about the individual fears that individual humans have, but the collective gender fear of each other.

Still Bette, I doubt this to be true. As I understand it, the chief fear among women is a life without security; the chief fear among men a life without significance.
 
Women with no children have no greater need for security than men.

It is, however, a FACT, that world-wide, women are used as physical pawns of men.
 
For men with fear of voided significance ... they should get a significant other that thinks alternately! It could relate to conflicts though ... biblical or not I can see plenty of biblical conflicts ... others don't see ID ... impossible they believe as Bull ... yet religions sent them out ... as roué's ... perhaps just an opposing ruse? That could be an anto nymph ... a wee odd fellow and in androgyny? A prick of an icon that can tacks yah ... doesn't mean as it appears ... reverse psychology?

Saw a quick glimpse today of a doctor on Canada AM discussing transgender health issues. Maybe the show can be seen on the CTV website (?)
 
Great interview. The Rainbow Health initiative seems very forward thinking and helpful. I'm so impressed with many of our younger docs such as Dr. Bourn.
 
I just came across this. It's a new pronoun gaining traction among transgender people. "Mx." I think it sounds good, it's ingenious, but I wouldn't be using it so that isn't really up to me. It's similar to how Ms. Was chosen to represent women who did not want to identify as married or single, and now it is usually applied to women unless they otherwise specify. Then again, Mx. doesn't account for which gender a person identifies as personally. But as an option? What do you think @RitaTG ?

Call "Mx" a paradigm crossover (x) like when the light of intelligence crosses over the darkness of the human sole .. an ethereal composite ... quite rare when we follow desires without logic ... if you didn't know the function of the icon "M" ... or the "μ's" there of as a population consideration ... a host unknown to exceptional individual concerns!

I don't mind the new label but I find all these labels rather dreary and distracting.
For me ... just my name please .... that is the best label for me and I do not need a Ms. Mrs or Miss in front of it.
I really don't see where these labels add anything of importance to my name.
I suppose if the label works for someone then by all means use it.......

What if you were in a formal setting @RitaTG, where pronouns are commonly used? If someone were to err, in a formal setting - like, if you were a schoolteacher and kids were addressing you with a pronoun like they're used to - or someone was addressing you in a letter, would you prefer Ms. or Mx.? I hope you don't mind me asking. I too prefer to just be called by my first name but in formal letters I am usually addressed by "Dear Ms. Surname". It's common business practice by default. My name happens to be a gender neutral first name, actually, but Ms. usually assumed anyway.
 
Those with a mind would be referred to as Mi Xi Muse ... or small minded in a humble theos/way?

Emotions can blow that all out of perspective ... result in blind concerns ...
