I don't know if this would applyor not, but one of the things I have done the past few years( and yes I've been experiencing some extreme interactions also) is this......I tell myself, I know who I am, my good friends know who I am, and God knows.... that has diminished my social circle.....but don't lose yourself or ever forget who you are.
This is really important. Our friends and loved ones know who we are and what we are about. They know our strengths and our weaknesses. They know fact from fiction. As long as we have them on our side we can stand against a storm. They will also tell us when we can and should do better.

Some folk even declare that life is not difficult for the paradigm ... are they stunned? Prodigious population analysis ... always exceptions and outliers!

They appear badly on the other side of the folk us point ...

I believe it is important to have big life goals capable of shadowing any anger from injustices enough to keep our focus on those goals. Such goals can help us say. "I fell like such and such but that would not help me reach my goal. To move towards my goal, I need to ..."

Working on rebuilding relationships takes time and energy.

When people are able to look to the future, or when it is for the benefit of others, it sometimes helps.
I acknowledge the difficult place it is for people to start to enter into relationship, especially if someone close to them is in total anger / focus on the post, etc.

For the sake of the kids of those in the riff, and the grandkids, I try to offer a place to just be.

I would guess you have gained a lot of invaluable insight over your time?

I would guess your involvement with the corporate world has given you insights as well?

Learning is important ... but many people I am aware of were told by a minister that knowledge was evil and philosophy was the worst of evil ...

Thus we can only see this if beyond the self ... farce ide?

It's funny you should mention that, Luce. We had a long discussion at my bible study on Wednesday morning about the total inability of children in the historic United Church to ask questions.

It is not just the UCC ... it is scattered ... like other abstracts! Einstein related all these things! His commentary in enlightening ... especially about abstract dimensions! Then I read a lot and this makes many folk of power phffted off ... as it exposes their darker areas (unknown and magical) ... might act as starter buttons ... initiations?

One minister of my childhood told of the evils of sex ... he had 6 children that he appeared to have a rough relationship with ... of course I am told this if denied ground ... forbidden! Don't speak of it ...
