Right now we are in Ontario. It's been pretty quiet on the bus so far. I've been playing Stan Rogers tunes and singing along with just the driver joining in on the choruses. Come on - I need some company.

Good idea to move the wonderbus over to it's own thread. We're awaiting your arrival in BC. :)

I'll hop on in Winnipeg . . . give me notice as I am a ways away :) by car . . . but I guess virtually I can be there in a flash!

Woohoo - I'm getting on the bus. Course - it's only fair to warn you all - I might hop off in Saskatchewan to go visit my brother. I haven't seen him for a while. He lives in Regina - and I miss him.

Jae, tell him to call me and we can have a visit. Where does he live and what does he do? My daughter and grandsons and SIL have your last name. LOL, maybe we are all related.. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

By the way, just so the bus driver knows, the roads aren't great in Saskatchewan and driving into Alberta, there is a lot of flooding.

Yeah - that would be great. I'm not sure what part of town my bro lives in - and quite often he's travelling for his job. I'm not even quite sure of what he does. He works for the provincial or federal government.

I'll watch for you after my pick-up, crazyheart . . . as we go through Saskatchewan . . . wheat fields won't be blowing yet :).

That's true . . .

I think I will bring a desire to have fun, I will take an openness to learn something new, and I will leave behind at home my cares and woe.

Heading down to GTA about now.
What to bring?
Snack foods and drinks - wine
Your own pillow
A musical instrument
Song sheets, jokes, stories to share
Your camera for pictures along the way (or candid shots in the bus)
Smiles, laughter
And something for the potluck when we get there.

Climb aboard. I bought crackers and cheese at our last pit-stop.
Pass them around.

I'll have take-out pizza when you hit Winnipeg, seeler.

And, I'm bringing a drum . . . can't think of the name of it right now . . . not a drum set, but one that is a couple feet high and you play it with the palm of your hand. . . I've always wanted to learn how - perhaps someone can teach me along the journey.
