Crazyheart, links are in the box where you type websites. It's called the address bar, and is usually near the top for most browsers.

I wonder if @Mendalla or @chansen or @Pinga (when she gets back) have any experience doing little instructional videos? I've seen folks do them with screen shots & be able to just speak & demonstrate what to do - anybody able to do these? Might be helpful since folks have different learning styles.

watch
This is what I get

if you are wanting to upload a video & it's on youtube - that's the easiest way. Easy to do - for example, if you look at the video I embedded above (post #174) in the bottom right corner of the video picture you will see the words "youtube" - if you hover your mouse over that it says "watch on youtube" - just click the mouse & you will go to youtube. Of course if you just want to watch the video, you don't need to do that ... just click on the sideways triange/arrow on the centre of the picture. Any clearer?

crazyheart - here's a little helpful video to show you where things are on the youtube screen - just pay attention to the first 45 seconds of it :-) That's all you need. Copy that blue 'share code' & use it. Disregard the other stuff that comes after that point - not needed here.

I think the wonderbus has taken a detour! We must be on the shoulder of the road ... waiting for some floodwaters to clear!!

@Kimmio - when you are on the youtube site - below the video you will see some words - 'about' 'share' 'add to' - click on 'share' - then you will see a line of symbols & a box below appear - that contains a link code - this is the address you copy & paste into the embed video box back here on WC2. Give that a shot.
Thanks. Looks like there's no way to do that from my phone, though.

I'm curious to test this now, before copying & pasting youtube links would embed the video (not for other sites, this is a youtube thing).
This was the best thing I could find quickly on chemguy's youtube subscriptions:

seems to have worked fine chemgal! Don't take Kimmio's word for it tho ... she's indulging tonight!

lol I'm in for the margaritas too!
The link Kimmio used, followed by me, was maybe just an older one so it didn't automatically embed? I don't usually bother with the media tool, as it's an extra step that's not usually needed.

What about from a phone though? Do you have to be signed into YouTube for it to work, maybe? Because it's just not working from my phone. And the options are different from the phone screen at YouTube. You can only email or twitter the link. I'll try from a PC another time if it comes up.

Sorry, my phone is old so I can't test that out. Are you using the rich text editor?
