Wasn't able to do what i originally planned so had to come up with something else.First bowl is a bit creepy. Which means, of course, it gets afrom me.
Thank you so much! I just started this year as I was led to believe for years that I WASN'T artistic.@BethAnne, you're quite artistic!
I actually like the "creepy bowl" as Mandalla calls it. It looks like an eye in the middle of the universe to me.
(ps...it is an eye peeking out of an egg shell)
It can be whatever it looks like to you...I'm just saying that I painted it as an eye looking out of an egg.I like @Waterfall 's version. Why couldn't be a "cosmic egg"?![]()

My neighbour does fabric art www.margaretblank.comYour bowls are very interesting BethAnn. Not sure I could say I prefer one over the other actually. I too grew up knowing that I wasn't artistic - but I now make things that others admire. Part of that scenario comes, I think, from limiting the types of creation kids are introduced to. For me it was pretty much drawing, painting, crayons. That type of creativity still isn't 'my thing'. Am enjoying making quilts and fabric landscapes though.
Nice. I do enjoy beautiful fabric art.My neighbour does fabric art www.margaretblank.com
I enjoy looking at it, but am not quite into making it - that may change in the future but I'm into other forms of creativity right now.Nice. I do enjoy beautiful fabric art.
And everyone is at different stages depending on how long they've been creating and how much time they can devote to it.Wow - very nice stuff she makes too. I REFUSE to say 'so much better than my puny efforts' - every piece made by anyone at all has some merit.
WOW!Hi,
I was a young man easily distracted. Now I have a lot of ways to express the creative spirit in me. I like taking bank advertisements and adapting them. Taking some aspect of the imagery. Cropping. Light and contrast. Playing with this edit feature and that. I often use the graphic for the cover of our Sunday service notes.
