That's how I took it too. Plus it fit's a variety of ways. One can eat throughout the day with multiple plates that look like that. Or one might snack on something from one area and eat things from the other areas at a different time.
I don't think there is a particular 'plate size' as it depends on calorie density, how many calories one needs and how many plates of food one would eat throughout the day.
 
Some restaurantes put small portions on large plates for that illusion ...


Plate onism ... grazing is better!
 
I am not surprised. That seems like it's been common knowledge for awhile...and the CFG was lagging. As for calcium - leafy greens, broccoli, nuts, legumes have plenty. I thought some of the deal with drinking cows milk is that it's fortified with vitamin D. We can supplement that in other ways (when sunshine is not available).
 
Blood thinners are a no-no when feeding on spinach and a bunch of other stuff ... or said the other way around ...
