Ah, an oldie but a goodie. The teacher of the course I was in on Thursday and Friday is a Randall Munroe fan so we were talking xkcd and Thing Explainer.

Not really a joke - but it happened and shared with me. It made me laugh and this seemed to be the best place for it.................

Boy child aged ten or so was in a period of repeated conflict with his mother. She was getting increasingly uptight. First she took away his computer game system. Then she took away his train set. They got into another heated exchange and she said words like -
"What is wrong with you today, all the time being aggravating?! Do you want to smarten up or lose something else? What do you want to lose this time?"
