Here we are getting closer to the end of the year. With every thing getting more expensive, I thought we could do a poll about what we want to do this year.

I thought Friday was all about the beginning of Sabbath as being quite dark ... fro the powers were shy about making love openly!

It is best to conflict? Is Black Sabbath all that bad except for the politicians that would like to control sex, sects and all that related?

I've been told by many that I am unrelated to them and thus going to hell because of their choice status! Tight Uses ... rendered to Titus? Tous ... all of the above ...

So, it looks that there is no clear majority for any of the choices- except that larger gift parcels are out. So, why don’t we say that we go with envelopes, either with gifts, or cards, or donations.
Let me know who is in by pm me until the deadline - lets say, November 20 th.

Edited to point out that gift cards are great and appropriate for many circumstances. But it is the imagination of SS that I enjoy. I'll never forget my lovely handmade place mat and coaster from Mrs. A. and use them often.

I have had fun with the few gifts I managed to cobble together

My imagination is limited and taxed by the 15 family gifts and several friend and donation gifts I buy every year. I could only enter this if I didn’t feel judged by whatever I sent. So…neither a yes nor a no at this point.

I've never once heard anything less than heartfelt kind words about a gift given or received from anyone that has played this little game.

15 family gifts plus more is a LOT. I think @Nancy might be feeling a bit burnt out by it all. Maybe she has felt judged by a friend or family member. So unfortunate!

My family buys for kids only. And we have exactly one child.

Gift exchanges are lovely if you enjoy them. I happen to hate the Yankee Gift Swap but some folks find it hilarious fun

I would certainly not judge you. I can’t imagine anybody else here would. We have said “envelope size”, so a nice card, a poem , a recipe,a picture could all be in an envelope. But your decision. Just everybody, please send me you present address, just to make sure I have the right one.
