So sorry I missed Secret Santa '22. I loved the figuring out and being in touch with someone known through this Wonder Cafe 2.
Hopefully I won't miss 2023's Secret Santa. I should say that I also enjoyed the surprise gift I received that someone took the time to
also figure out just what to send off.
Here is a Christmas Card Letter.. attached for everyone.
Merry Christmas, may your Season of Light be amazingly insightful, and fireside warm.

I have received my secret Santa gift, electronically! A gift card for a favourite purchase. Thanks, Chemgal!
You're welcome! There's a card as well, was hoping you would get both the same day, hopefully it shows up before 2023 :)

I'm sort of proud of myself this year. For the first time in about 3 years I bought myself a chocolate Advent calendar. For the first time I can remember, I actually retrained myself, limiting to just the one bit of chocolate assigned for that day. Usually by about the 15th of the month, it was hostory; this year it lasted until Christmas Eve.

I have also resisted the temptation to open my Secret Santa package; it will wait for tomorrow. That, too, for me, is rare.

You're like Chemguy I still have a few from mine.

Thank you, Kay the Curler!
She sent some beautiful note cards, a lovely poem, and an apron, of interesting design. (WonderWoman). The nice gift bags they came in were very nice, too! Thanks again!

Secret Santa made a delivery here. The package contained a lovely locally dyed yarn and a small project bag. Santa knows me well. Thanks friend.

I have a beautiful Canadian nature calendar from @Redbaron and look forward to putting it up. I really do prefer a real wall calendar so I can see everything at a glance, so it's especially welcome.
Many thanks and all good wishes for a Happy New Year Red.
I like having a real wall calender too, sadly I didnt get one this year, so I will have to get one.

Covent Garden Market has a promotional calendar with recipes using ingredients from various market vendors. For the past two years, I have received one with my tea orders (the tea shop I patronize is in the market) so we just use it.

I remember in earlier times, our local daily paper would include a wall calendar in their Christmas Eve edition each year. Nothing fancy, but it was good enough to hang on the wall and record dr's appointments, dental appointments, and the like. Sundays and holidays were always printed in red ink, while ordinary days were in black.
