Rabids are quite sexual and thus the comparison to the mortal mind ...
Perhaps. Whenever we fee a vinyl, my family thins about my dad. We Jose that because Ben reincarnated and ice she sing in on UCCanada. Well, perhaps come of ice are hosing more than other.

Setting out a bowl of Halloween candy: Pringles, chocolate bars and licorice. As it is virtual it will not affect your waistline or your glucose levels

Adding some good kettle cooked chips for those who prefer. Meanwhile, mmm chocolate!

I had just brought in my pumpkin when friends arrived. 13 year old triplets (and their mother) and 2 of their friends. They came in and I almost emptied my candy bowl when I heard one more trick or treat. Another student-this time grade 6. So about 40 trick or treaters-and I even gave out dog treat to the canines that came. Funny-my cat started to be interested in the candy bowl-and then I realized she was after the salmon treats. I gave her
4 and she was delighted. Happy halloween all-what a joy to see so many kids and neighbours and to be able to be generous!

I have a very good inner clock. I woke up at what I figured was 4am. I had been asleep since 10pm, so 6 hrs sleep.

I was surprised to see it was only 3. Tried to get back to sleep, but finally gave up.

More than one light bulb went on when I went into the kitchen.

Turn back the clocks. It was 4am

It was very quiet around here. It usually is as we live in an area where houses are far apart because of a big park. On our block we are the only house that participates too. We had two sets of two little girls about two hours apart. Later, when we thought it was all over, a neighbour arrived with two small grands. This guy has brought varying sized groups every year we have lived here and we were delighted to see him. We have wasted money buying treats that didn't get claimed several times so this year we decided to give each visitor a shiny, brand new toonie. They all seemed happy with that. Forty years ago Halloween was a very different event - kids running all over from late afternoon until dark. Then the teens came around and we usually made them 'earn' their treats by singing to us, telling us a joke or trying to bite an apple on a string. Funny how things change as the years go by.

The English and Newfie's had mum Ayres ... the urge to cook something up?

It wasn't just the stew that enthused that story of Cain and Able ... it was the underlying activity in the kitchen ... some say a die'n awe ...

The dark side of the oven work ... if you can backe that up ... in adequate time ...

That's great Tabitha. Where did you go to get it? Many of the pharmacies in my neighbourhood are now administering it - even the pharmacy located inside Loblaws grocery store! I got mine at work - big campaign as there is every year at the hospital.

I keep reminding Chemguy about it. He's going to be gone this week and I know he usually gets a sore arm - not ideal for driving, so I'll be on him once he's back.

My employer's not offering it this year (I work in a college with a nursing program, so they usually put it on), so I'll probably get my nurse-practitioner to give it to me next time I'm in. It will be nice when the nasal spray variety is available for all, not just the 1-18 year olds; solve the sore arm problem, which also affects me. After these two dreadful colds I've had this summer/fall, I'm anxious not to get the 'flu.

My daughter's guy has spent the weekend getting moved in. Just making a spaghetti dinner for all of us to enjoy together now that the dust and the excitement are settling.

I remember when the pharmacists first started doing them, Chemguy didn't trust a pharmacist to do an injection. I'm guessing he's over that now!

Such as...?
Live vaccines shouldn't be given to everyone. The flu mist has a larger group of people who shouldn't get it than many other live vaccines as it can create issues for those with asthma that's not well controlled. Chemguy won't get that one, as we couldn't get any confirmation that it wouldn't cause problems for me. As it is live, it is possible that I could 'catch' it.

I usually have a tender arm too - but only for about 24 hours after the injection & a bit of Tylenol takes care of it just fine if it's truly bothersome.

I got mine at work and found it much more painful than ever before. Maybe that nurse was just practicing, I found she was putting it quite high up or maybe its the vaccine this time. Really had a hard time lifting my arm over my head,
But- glad we have the option to get vaccinated.
