Room For All

Welcome to Wondercafe2!

A community where we discuss, share, and have some fun together. Join today and become a part of it!

Good morning! Thursday is here, the weekend can't be far off. Around here, this weekend should be a bit warmer than the last few days have been. That'll be nice.
We gather again around the Coffee Cart, for chat, support, and camaraderie, over tea and coffee. The Wonderbaker has been busy, producing some lovely butter tarts for us to indulge in. They're still warm from the oven. The tea water is boiling, the coffee is freshly brewed, too. All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come in, enjoy the snacks and the company, and join in the chat!

I stepped my rant down about 4 notches for my linkedin post.

I worked for Allen-Bradley when it was acquired by Rockwell Automation.
Decades later, the Allen-Bradley product stands strong, and leadership was strong throughout as was R&D.
That is the way to do it.

I do feel Palo Alto is about ego, and I worry for the people at CyberArk...i do see departures.
I noted the monster arising when I was assigned some temporal position in NE States. As a tech person it was said later that I was primally situated to analyse the mental condition. They cried they were the greatest when holding 5% of the market, when in the Maritimes we had over 90% and our owners decided it was time to reassemble for a large profit ...

The organization was sold 3+ times in quick succession, at inflated profit, and the entire business eventually failed (along with GE and several other traditional companies). A great deal of tech knowledge was destroyed and retired. I hear that some times the residuals search for answers to where it went ... alas they don't really like to know it illuminates a continuing human fallacy of logic. Ever hear of such a strange comprehension?

Un heard of heh ... never a muddier perspective ... that's me mudder ... the dirt that comes up ... few are aware of the base conditions ... but are sensitive because of darker connectivity ... the Black Hand Spirit! Sometimes known as the 3rd hand ... do wets ... or just do ET? Duos that are unconscious ... anonymous sit Eh!

I’m somebody who has never made much money, never chased wealth, and always had a chip on my shoulder about the corporate world. Couldn’t handle the big egos and competition and what felt like pep rallies at the entry level - artificial socialization. I wasn’t encouraged at a young age to pursue my strengths. They wanted me to get a good government desk job but I wasn’t really cut out for that either. Had some experience with it. I meandered around and worked at what I could but disability - and not recognizing neurodiversity - it just wasn’t a straight forward path.

Perhaps my life would’ve been different and I’d have some security to get me by in hard times, if I’d gone into something else. Something arts related was a dream as a teenager.

Even non profit social services which I did work in, probably my highest paid work and that’s not saying much, was corporatized in a way that makes it now quite anti-social.

I've never chased wealth either, but I like to have 'enough'...enough to live on, and enough to donate to charities, and buy gifts for loved ones. I travel very little and it is often done on the cheap...staying with family and friends. A couple times in my life I have seemed to be on a path towards greater responsibility and a larger salary, but I backed away mostly because I loved what I was doing more. I have a partial pension...my husband has no work pension...but we manage okay. I think it helps that we have no great wants in life. And much of our work around the house is done by us or family. Latelly, though, we do pay for snow removal...money well spent!

Vet visit today for Tracker . First time that i took him alone.

We managed.
He is a dog that loves people, often too much.

Got some meds to see if it will help with his over friendliness with guests.

And...he has tic medicine. Found an engorged one on the floor, so we're a bit late with the meds

I heard of somebody putting their cat on Prozac for anxiety and depression. Marc Maron - a comedian with depression (most of them do) who lives in LA. Seems like an LA thing to do. (But also because one of his other cats bullies that cat.)

Those guys always show up earlier than we would like. I got my first mosquito bite this morning. Another pesky species that arrives too early.

There was one in my room about a week ago. Not sure how it got in because the window was closed and there are screens on the other windows, but I think those windows have been kept closed - and I keep my bedroom door closed most of the time.

Good morning! How are we all? Trips to the vet with the dog, thoughts on money, etc. will shape our conversations, as well as whatever we come up with today. The Room is open, the Coffee Cart is ready to host our chat. We come to talk, listen, support, and connect, over tea and coffee, and the cream puffs that the Wonderbaker has created for us. The kettle is whistling, the coffee is freshbrewed, and the puffs are wonderful. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come in and join the fun!

The essence of satisfied soul ... there are songs about that! Like that man in the Miami Airport sipping blended spirits ... even the gourds whine about old dogs and children ... and poor access to drinking in some peace ...

Satchmo also contributed ... with matter from the darker side ... very earthy ... shadow forms according to Plato ... and that one got all bent out of shape ... as the myth goes on ... no ... ores know vocation ... flakey? A 6'd thing ...

Isn't there some ancient literature about banging coins around in a brass plate to get attention ... gonging? Yet ... it too goes on ... like a racket or bump in the night ... existentialism? Lysems ... ancient connect ability ... all head dis eases ...

Lyse 'd evils ... interrupted DNA? Could get RFK dancing over his brain element ... worming about as a noodle? Self contained in a bone ...
