Not a fan of Walmart's food or brands....
Yeah, I agree. It becomes a problem trying to procure even your essentials from stores that aren't evil, without paying double by buying everything from small retailers that don't have the benefit of huge buying power.

I picked up a cheap thermometer at the drugstore checkout. Usually, I just toss the package instructions anymore, thinking I already know what I need to know.
Apparently not.
I can't tell you why I decided to look at the instructions, but boy, was I glad I did!20260415_144603.jpg

Good morning! Friday is here, and the weekend is near. For those homeward bound after a lengthy cruise, welcome, and hope it was a good time (even with rain). Those recuperating from medical procedures, may it continue to heal smoothly and as quickly as possible. We gather around the Coffee Cart to begin to sort it all out through conversation, support, and camaraderie. The tea nd coffee will assist us, as well as the Wonderbaker's efforts. Today the Wonderbaker has baked English muffins with varied spreads and toppings for us to enjoy. The tea water is boiling, and the coffee is freshbrewed; the muffins toasting to perfection. All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come on in and share your thoughts onshopping at Costco and Walmart and other places!

Seems kind of obvious to me but stupid is as stupid does, eh.

Isn't that common (as homoe is) because we were told learning and knowledge is bad. So we go with what was original, pagan, or heathen whatever ...

Mores to be overlooked? See the ethic 'r part! Like a fog on Shenandoah's morn ... twere a deep vale ... kind poetic and out there ... because virtue is unacceptable ... the implications regarding the underflow are significant ... dippy?

Given a change we go for it ... stupid it is! Is that a cricket expression considering the investigations about cricket in Canada? All rogue toaks ... oaks are tough ... especially to cross ... they're loaded with squirrels and nutz ... what a tz that NU thing ...

Fresh Eire than you can imagine drawn up from know where ... did you know the Nous is with us?

Do you know the extent of what s' agin us? Thus we are swamped with the overhead ... "AD" being above, beyond or out there like AD "onus" leading some of us to be impressed that we are beyond out time like Apollo when stripped down is simply a naked bouncer ... apolune? Thus dark strings of the core land ... stifled! Threads entangled ... anonymously or sown in place ... allowing for the Celtic weave ... twas the dance said heath ... recall that "th" is silent ... just wrote ... that's the word!

Few grasp because the word is utilized to scare the crap out ... pragmatic? Thus some have not a clue of a healthy fear ... especially of comprehension!

Passionate is the mode ... automated a bode ... maybe a Bodenheimer ...

Thanks for the english muffin and coffee!
Last night I went to see my granddaughter in her school play, Oliver Twist......it seems they have a shortage or boys participating in the arts in grade 8.....so many of the girls took on some male roles. My grand played Fagin and was impressive along with her singing voice...it was well directed and there were many excellent actors amongst the cast. Kudos to the teacher that pulled off a very wonderful musical version of this time honoured classic. We enjoyed it and I was a very proud Grandma.
Last weekend I also attended the Stratford Orchestra along with music students interspersed amongst them. What an amazing performance and a thrill to watch my granddaughter (and other students) play her violin with such learned professionals!
Sigh.....2 hours just flew by! Amazing and so enjoyable.

That sounds like time well spent @Waterfall. I haven't done much of anything lately, and feel a little housebound. But yesterday we went to Sault Michigan to pick up 7-year-old grandson to bring him to his basketball practice in Cedarville. There was no place for us to watch him so my husband and I wandered around the little beautiful village of Cedarville. We met up with people who were happy to tell us about the history of the school and the village and some of the local sights. The sun was shining brightly and it felt like spring, despite piles of snow all around. I felt a kinship with this little place, and no anti-Americanism at all.

I never took up acting at school at that age ... I was told frequently to shut up and settled in an arid place to scratching missals (odes) in the sans ... a gritty end and still those attempting to push it all over ... avarice I learned is the need to control without a decent story.

Ever heard that theory ... that it is god is good (Tobias) only if you have a decent story to get through the smoldering gates ... once in the vale (dell, etc.) the lights go out in GEO Ghia ... might have been the fiddler ... some say the crawdad's ... bell HeH through and through with owls on delivery ... a stormy night ...

My household fears used to grip me ... thus it is now arid ... a poor place to dwell ... like Dickensian mass acre ... flat out and decomposed!

Masada was a 4 runner ... a ledge to jump from ... hope that there's water at the bottom ... homo sapiens? Otherwise a veil of bones of past hoppers ... look first!

More detritus in the sans ... 3 leafed item ... with pharmaceutical virtue ... li Lith? Small essence ... of items to come ... an opening?

Much of human nature is all closed up ... seek the breaks ... like Petros! Olay ... all set for greasing ... therein the rub ... unguent?

Tis all you get in reality MS Leads ... towards the drain and emptying modes ... something mores to suck up?

Then that song about Dan and I looking for what else ... is cool and clear as the booty coming down the slope ... omega ode ...

Ripe for the rime ...

It's never too late....my Dad started learning to play the piano in his 60s!

Would like to learn something new in my 70's but I am not sure just what
I remember my friends mother took up pottery after retirement. (when she was around my age now). Turns out she became quite good at it and won a couple awards for her work.
I've thought about yoga or taking up painting.....but don't seem to push myself lately. Alot of seniors centres offer these things amongst others.

Here I am flush ... a few months from 80 and hands not in that good shape ... I do learn a lot contrary to some opinions attached to Willies ...

Then why is knowledge so hated? So it goes like that thing on the river ... looking for the source Dan ... however I can sing but tend to hide with the choir folk ... regardless of the degradations ... it doth break down into OHM Eire of a wind in dis ole house ... imagine that drab auld place ... beasts? It was a great hulk in the dark ...

And as I struggle as part of a small group to deconstruct a church ... the administrators hate to give up even as we approach bankruptcy ... yet there is levity out there in dance and song ... well-jumped up sayeth Gramps ... and it rippled through the unknown ...

Can you sound the depths like Twain ... or just pole your pirogue along looking for booties in the Levi ... careful that might be superficial ... like Isis on the cake? Keep a movin Dan Some devils had a plan, buried in the sand, don't drink it ... maybe just a splash? Small whines and squeaks there in the dark?

Congratulations to your grand daughter. So lovely for kids to have a variety of opportunities.
