Room For All

It is the norm in many places ...given certain random variants ... everything is wobbly and shaky! It may be delinquency ... after all a God of Love is fickle ...

Well, Christmas Camp was a blast. 8 days on snow. A lot of snow. The kids had a great time. That said, I sent a kid to the hospital yesterday after a fall, but he's fine. He'll be back next week.

We broke camp with 15 athletes and through word of mouth about the team, grew to 20 athletes as of yesterday. We're the only team with growth like that, all while I've been lead coach. I like to think we were doing something right.

Woo hoo! The Room is at 2000 pages (using the default of 20 posts per page). Which means we are close to 40,000 posts (2000*20). Not quite Last Post levels but pretty good.

what your hopes are for 2026
That the big project at work goes well and I don't feel like throwing myself under a bus by the end of the year.

That I get my writing back on track. My production level was a bit lower than I liked last year (7 NSFW and 3 SFW). That ratio is not what I want either.

Hope is ... we can grow into learning something before we collapse from the counter effect ... knowing nothing?

Is it dangerous to know, or not to know? I couldn't say because I've been directed to be still ... thus the kohl, cool, caul of the evening ... a very obscure meme brane! Whatever ...

What if all those searching for ultimate power backed off? Does the back stage step up? That's reversal ...

Yet someone declared you can't go back after setting out ... because of displacement ... and the fact we don't know where we came from ... indicating just how much we are able to know without the base ...

I see no reason for not being ill disposed ... so eliminate me because of your frustration about unknown matters ... I'll go to the counter side ... opposed? This confuses the edifice and established ...

Mark it down somewhere ... for the market ...

Shite. Snowblower fell ill today. Will not project snow. Damn, small engine mechanics have been called.

Really fecking tired of winter already, and I predict that the upcoming melt will cause chaos.

Every time I check to see if the squalls off the bay are going to hit us, they're almost always hitting you instead.

If I could turn them more south to get the Beaver Valley area, I would. We're doing okay, but you're getting the lion's share.

Good Tuesday morning! Christmas camps that went well, with plenty of snow, snow blower that won't function the way they are supposed to, a few days above freezing (though with freezing rain warnings in this area), and whatever pops up today, it all comes with us to the Coffee Cart to be sorted out over coffee and tea. This morning the Wonderbaker has provided cinnamon buns for us. The tea water is boiling, and coffee freshbrewed; the buns are warm and soft. All is ready, all are welcome. Come on in and relax a bit!

How does the buns of a sinner man taste ... the kares s of the donkey ...

Ever see a donkey bite a coyote? Its brutal to the dog 'n ... as it dogs along ... with the ultimate narrative ... much unseen ... so how could it be understood?

There was a science article a few days about observations on the viscous surface of water molecules ... few understand that either ... so much is beyond us raising unnecessary fear and anger ... all we have to do is enter the pain of learning --- CS Lewis!

Is that tacky or what? I've encountered these things in my descent ... some even declare knowing is profane ... equitable folly?

My snowblower story is that we have a big 30 inch wide model we got from our neighbour.

While Carter was sick, I did some contracting for a couple of neighbours. My dad did one job without me because he was there anyway, helping with Claire. One neighbour wanted a loft in their tall garage, above the open garage doors. My dad built it while I was in the hospital over a couple of days that summer. Supplied the lumber and everything. 20ft x 8ft. Big.

At the conclusion, the neighbour suggested my dad take his snowblower as compensation. It was a MTD (meh quality) Home Depot model just out of warranty and something on it had broken, but it was a pretty expensive machine when new and he had abused it in some way. I wouldn't buy that model with an unknown Chinese knockoff engine, but it definitely cost over $1000 new. My dad reluctantly agreed, trailered it to his mechanic friend, had it fixed up for a couple hundred dollars, and decided we needed it more than he did (he has one only slightly smaller but with a Briggs engine).

That winter, I used it to great effect because it's pretty big for a subdivision snowblower. 4 passes clears a lane. My neighbour saw it running and said, "Thanks for fixing my snowblower."

What?

He thought I should give it back. I had to remind him that my dad built his loft, supplied the materials, and he paid with a broken snowblower that cost my dad money to fix, before giving it to me.

Anyway, that meh quality snowblower with the knockoff engine has been working great with only a couple of oil changes since that day. Every year I pull the starter cord expecting something to break, but it never does. I run the engine dry every spring. That's all I do. The oil changes happen when I remember and have time in the spring, which is not often. It only goes through 10L of gas or so a winter, and that's with me doing some other driveways.

Every winter I offer its use to the son of a friend in the area to make money, but he doesn't take me up on it.

I have a neighbour with a blower who sometimes helps me but he's an adult living with his parents because otherwise there's no way they could stay in their home given their health. In terms of kids doing shovelling and other yardwork, we don't have any around us old enough. Our neighbourhood is just recycling and getting young families in again so most of the kids are under ten.

10 years old is fine. You just need more of them.

Honestly, Zach is pretty capable when shoveling. He can't operate a 250lb snowblower. I know. I made him try.

Got stuck in my driveway this morning because I had to turn my wheel a bit to avoid hitting the moron who works at the public school and parks squarely behind my driveway. Had to call daughter and son-in-law to get me out. Then I had to do a 70-point turn not to hit the moron's car. She got a terse note underneath her wipers pointing out that 10' forward or back would inconvenience no-one.

If love and emotional conditions indicate an unstable or fickle state ... is the essence on the other side of the line like shaken up thoughts?

That aught to cause stoppage in the loving upsets ... a Holy Place in the spatial ... profanity? By definition does the insertion of true grit profane clear space? Expect permutations an implications ... and future bother about what comes next ... he who left the other space? He has to go ... there it is disturbed ... rather dissonant, or Eri' ... in other words all summed up ...
