"6 inches of snow fell overnight but the temperature will rise above freezing during the day, only to fall below freezing in the afternoon. It takes you 30 minutes to clear your driveway, but you only have 15 minutes before you have to leave for work, or be late. What do you do?"
Be late. Snow is a valid excuse.
If not, phone a friend

It is said this is reality ... be prepared for anything!

God-like processes happen from afar ... arm's length humor? Nothing is over yet!

Like many that seem constantly in descent to raise others ... I hope for lighter days ... as if something sliding down the side of the mountain as in that French Song! Greased lightning ...

Then "woke" is something ordinary people are supposed to be astute to ... explaining general dissonance that is difficult to escape without the knowledge that was considered profane ... how humans opposes themselves ... the answer is sacred, hidden ... maybe even Gnostic ... a dark creation?

Ink that into the line ... a navel force of wessels? Is that the word of question that can float the question?

Hwy 10 (to skiing) is closed tonight in multiple stretches. With no training on tomorrow, my wife convinced me to stay home tonight.

I know all the back roads, but she'd be a mess. There's no point. I keep trying to convince myself.

Imagine being convinced to stay home ... the Andy Cap Syndrome ... you may wear the hat but remember the one wearing the Pan tz ah?

A hidden flower???? There's possibly more to it as I suspect this story also goes on ... the unending myth of ... ineffable!

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Roads closed, skiing put off, plus some good news of "benign"! Hope your weekend has started well! The Coffee Cart is ready to host our conversations today, over tea and coffee and baked goodies. Today the baked goodies are nice fresh doughnuts of every type imaginable. The tea water is boiling, the coffee is freshbrewed, and the doughnuts are fluffy and warm. All is ready, and all are welcome! Come join the conversations!

Power is skimpy here in central NB ... it could demonstrate humility needs ... and also some line towards maintenance, etc.

Usually folk look towards ends ... the intellectual (thinking) medium, is complex for the simple ... consider neurology for an example as something of that line ... people walk off with them if coppered!

Up early to go to youngest granddaughters hockey game. So cute. They divide the ice in 1/2, have 2 teams, but really it's a bit of a scramble with full shift changes every 2 minutes.

Then went out for breakfast with the family

Now to go home and prep for Christmas tomorrow

Some of my new neighbours' kids (they have three) must play. Both vehicles were gone all morning. This afternoon they came home and I saw the father carrying sports bags and sticks in from both.

Now off work until Dec. 29. Plan to just do some writing, relaxing, enjoy the holiday. Son and d-i-l are in town so some visits with them. I thought we might have them for dinner this weekend but they are actually going to Toronto tonight for his company Christmas Party. Which has me wondering, if they can get a venue this close to the holiday, why is mine in early November? The argument has always been that it's hard to find a place as you get closer to the holiday. We also have ours in the GTA since it the most central spot given our spread (Windsor in the West to Kingston and Ottawa in the East, North as far as Sudbury).

Got me there. I am actually not sure We had a combination Christmas luncheon and retirement party at work this past week but it's two women who are retiring so can't even help you based on that.

What would you appreciate at $50 or under? Can you even get a half decent men’s gift for that? Any men here are welcome to give ideas - anybody welcome, actually) I usually need some help buying for men (except partners because chances are I knew what they liked and needed and didn’t already have) but I don’t usually have advice nowadays and end up feeling like I didn't do a good job. Women are easier to shop for, in my experience.

All the guys in out family LOVE really good chocolates. It also means they aren't stuck with something they don't want and will either toss or declutter in some fashion.

Do they drink? Because you could probably pick up a decent bottle of something for that. A 375ml bottle of 12-year-old single malt Glenfiddich is under $50 at least here in Ontario. And Bushmill's Irish Whiskey is under $40 for a 750. And you should be able to get some pretty wines for that, too.
