Oh no, her hair, her choice.

It's just disappointing when people take things so seriously.

Wheeee. Shoveling again. It snowed for maybe 3 or 4 hours today but has stopped and the sun is out. Still no sign of the plow so will have to go out again once they show up. Radar shows it was a streamer off Huron that has now moved West (Mount Brydges and surroundings for those who know the area). Hope it doesn't swing back.

I think the 60's prepared me for anything fashion wise....lol
Our daughter who was doing the rebellious teen thing pranced in for breakfast one schoold day. Sje dlippedherself about. She struck poses. She eventually said :Aren't you going to say something about my mini skirt?" Her dad looked at her and said :"h. Is that what today;s kids call a mini skirt. Your mother wore shorter ones".
Exit very huffy kid.

No snow today, too cold. I did go out for half an hour and attack the lump at the end of the driveway, while waiting for paramedics to come and pick up my boarder, who fell again and couldn't get up. Her knees are toast, she's waiting for surgery, in the meantime, if she falls and I can't get her brother over here, 911 it is... I can't shift her, I daren't let the big guy because if he goes down, I've got two people on the floor I can't get up.

Helped narrate the cantata this morning, which was nice. Have spent the rest of day on driveway, laundry, lugging out all the garbage and recycling and worrying about boarder. I'm not quite prepared to offer Assisted Living in my home, and if I were, it wouldn't be in a basement, and then I don't know where I'd live. It's a small house and there's only the two bedrooms and a small den up here.

Bah, wish I was closer.

I'm having fun assisting my parents with most things now, though they consistently remind me how self-sufficient they are.

Imagine yourself 50 percent lighter, 100 per cent weaker, bui 1000 more percent determined and its me. Thats probably your parents too. It sucks.

Then there was the purple people eaters ... monstrous ... they may resemble dragons in another Deis ... bubbles of image or just puff ...

Then there is that article in a recent NY'r about people with neurological systems that form images and those that are picture-less oddly connected to the system of Peripheral Immune Intolerance ...

Three folks got a Nobel Prize for it and squeezed out POTUS as lacking the ability of imagination ... this happens when encountering thin air in the heights ... like Night Eire ... dar k azelle ... it is like we know nothing!

Is PII kind of out of here or a comprehension that is beyond us ... thus the domain of improper understanding! May include the land of Pi ... with pippers and other pips ...

Sometimes a "pip" is taken as a tare or small hard seed ... these sometimes erupt in a tear or rush to go god gnus where ... some psychic!

Good morning! Hope you week is starting well. For bus today the Baker has made pizzelles, to munch on. Enjoy! Tea and coffee are ready, sohelp yourself. Everyone is welcome!

Shovel, shovel, shovel. It just keeps coming. 4 or more inches yesterday, then the plow drift this morning. The skiers and kids are happy, those of us still doing their driveways the old-fashioned way less so. Supposed to warm up but that just means rain turning it all into a sloppy mess that will then freeze.

They say we Canucks talk a lot about the weather but, dang it, a Fall like this gives you so much to talk about.

My sister keeps bragging about just getting rain in St. Catharines...lucky them!
So far I don't mind the snow, but that may wear off by February.

When I lived in Hamilton we referred to the area from roughly Winona eastward as the "banana belt" because it tended to get warmer once you got to that end of Wentworth Region and into Niagara.

I feel that my antibiotics are starting to work -- hallelujah for strong meds.

If this med doesn't work the next step up is likely IV antibiotics. ugh.

As I haven't felt like sewing, did some adjustments to my shopping and did a bit less focus on made in canada, and am fairly well done. Not perfect, but i'm happy

Good Tuesday morning to all! For those shoveling, and for those dealing with medical issues, we think of them, as well as others who are faced with things of their own. We gather again around the Coffee Cart, for conversation, support, and community. This we do over tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, and the Baker's goodies. Today, we have been provided with cinnamon buns. The tea water is boiling, the coffee freshbrewed, and the baked goodies fresh and warm from the oven. Everything is ready, and all are welcome. Come join in!

Might be the first recorded instance of someone bragging about living in St. Catherines.
She loves it there. When she first moved there .I remember calling the area the " rust belt" because of GM closing and related industries, but that was about 30 some years ago......she was not impressed.
