I think the snow is beautiful but not so much for commuters.

The drive in here was terrible (and I had to hit my family doc's office en route). Streets weren't very well cleared at all even sticking to major roads.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Yes, I know you're a skier, but I'm not and my street looks like the freakin' Arctic right now. Fortunately my wife didn't need her car, which is the one with all-wheel drive, because my poor little Civic hates deep snow.

It is a bad thing. I have a coaches meeting on Saturday. It would be great to ski, but we should probably sit down and go through the plan for the season instead.

Got my winter tires on and undercoating by Junior. Just in time. Rain starting any time now , to turn into mixed precipitation to turn into snow in early morning. But nothing like you have, only a few cm I suspect.
We had a good amount of rain lately, especially yesterday and I am hearing of people being able to use their wells again ( after two months of not….My old lady’s daughter has been using their pool until day before yesterday, for daily soaks…
Tough Canadians. I haven’t been swimming not even in the summer for probably 15 years…

Got mine yesterday, and ditto, not even very sore (one is actually more itchy than sore, which is probably an allergic reaction to bandaid glue). Now, more than usually evil-tempered today, but probably due to a crappy shift, and a few other things. The stupid feels thick on the ground today. And we got just enough snow to be a bit of a wet nuisance. Maybe 3 cm.

I get both my shots in one arm. That works for me, and only one sore arm.

I can't remember if I mentioned I saw my doctor at the clinic yesterday. I see him every three weeks. I've had a cough, which I've figured was a side effect of my med. My resting heart rate has been around 95 lately. He was concerned about the shortness of breath he observed. He checked my ankles, listened to my chest and asked usual questions. So, he's ordering a chest CT just to be cautious and check.

Today was coffee time with my cancer buddies. It was a great visit and we had two new members. We meet in a grocery store that has a nice cafeteria type eating area. I went to pick up a couple things in the store after coffee. I was sauntering around the store. It was way more effort than necessary. I suspect my heart rate goes from 95 or so resting, to max when sauntering.

I will sleep well tonight.

Good morning! Wednesday has arrived. We remember sons (and others) getting ready for deployment, those who have experienced the first blast of the coming winter, winter tires and undercoating, flu and covid shots, and all that comes up today. We gather round the Coffee Cart, for tea and coffee, for conversation and support, for connections and community.
The Wonderbaker has provided us with squares and brownies to enjoy as we gather. The tea water is ready, coffee is freshbrewed, and the squares are nuce and warm. All is ready! Everybody welcome! Come join the fun!

True. Still, my normal is more like 70, or high 60's.

Mine is perpetually high, even taking a beta blocker for my blood pressure. Most people like me would be on an ACE inhibitor for blood pressure but a beta blocker handles the high heart rate better.

I've seen BP all over the place and blood too as sangfroid ... cold blooded entertainment?

It can be dizzying ... especially in nerves about the vagal vasal region ... these effect the trigeminals!

Geminal effect is critical in chemistry ... and thus source of chaos ... folk dislike chemistry and cannot relate ... no clumping?

Some words can cause lumps in your throat ...

My blood pressure was high when staff took it at doctors appointment. At end of appointment doctor said, let me try that again, he did it himself and it was fine
