Good morning! Hope your Thursday goes well. Butter tart heresy, poutine, discussion on homemade chips/fries; hockey and skiing; and, of course, weather. These and other things that pop up come to the Coffee Cart for chat, for support, for connecting. This we do over tea and coffee, and baked goodies. Today we have cinnamon buns, fresh from the Wonderbakery. The buns are nicely warmed, the tea water is boiling, the coffee id freshbrewed. All is ready, everybody is welcome. Come join the fun!

In this thread what kind of things are unheard of, not sounded out properly because of uncomfortable folk practicing shut-out process and thus no soundings ... Twain would be disappointed by the non floating intellect!

There was an interesting article in NY'r issue back in the spring about word being funny stuff and how the back became forward in expression over time ... thus the inclusiveness of time as opposing dt's across a greater spectrum that is infrequently observed ... a mental disposal?

The was also an article about the miracle of blood and how it works to provide stuff to bodily cells including food, air, stimulation to use it and knowledge of when and when not to ... dependant a great deal on hormones and other catalyst! The article was quite thick with concepts that are unfamiliar to the common processes ... thus perhaps considered Black Magic ... not a chocolate thing ... thus satyr continues as a donkey unsounded ... a silent Bell?

Dead ringer ... and thus essence rotates ... goes about ... difficult to observe? Dame ... as shy as chi ... none peeked ... one must go a great stretch for such real ayes ation ... and ability to read phonetic! Again sound it out ... strike it with your fingertips to see if that skull has anything in it ... like testing gourdes ...

Last night we had an impressive storm with lots of light, noise and rain. this morning it is starting to drizzle a bit. I noticed a Rain Warning for the north with torrential rain forecasted. Hopefully it will douse the fires!
 
Torrential rain seems like a bad idea until the world is in flames around you, eh. Such is life. One person's disaster is another person's blessing.

Kawartha Lakes district here in Ontario has two active wildfires going. I was in that area a few weeks ago but this has started since then. Apparently the brush piles created by branches taken down by ice in the ice storm that hit Eastern Ontario are exacerbating the situation. It's East of me so the smoke isn't an issue. Might be a problem up my son's way (Ottawa) but I haven't heard anything.
 
Good morning from our smoky world here. There's a fire that was discovered a couple days ago that is now at 2156 HA. It is a really aggressive fire. Part of the town of Port Alberni is under evacuation alert. Mr Northwind was supposed to golf today. Apparently the course is so smokey they sent home the grounds crew. Golf has been postponed.

We had a nice day with friends yesterday. The air was clear but as we were leaving, we saw smoke nearby. We drove through some really smokey areas to get home.

It's alarming to see how much of Canada is burning this year.

The park where we spent the last couple summers is about 2 km due west of this spot.

Good morning! Friday has arrived, and the weekend follows close behind. New fires discovered, some helpful rain in some areas, evacuations in places as well. May all be safe through the crises. We gather in spirit round the Coffee Cart, to share our thoughts and events, to offer and receive moral support from one another, and to connect over coffee, tea, and doughnuts. The doughnuts are varied, and delightfully warm, ta water is boiling, and coffee has finished brewing. All is ready, everyone is welcome. Come on in and enjoy the company and refreshments, and share your thoughts!

Sometimes with disastrous incident because of confidence is believed to be got! That's not the entire item ... just departure from integral ...

I am like the forecast for next week. Down to mid-20s once we get to Tuesday. However, we have to get through today and tomorrow first with 30 and 32. May this be the last gasp of summer.

I have a mixed relationship with melons. I can eat cantaloupes and honeydews if there's nothing else in the vein of fruit but they aren't a first choice. Watermelon is right out, though. Can't stand the stuff.
